I have Saturn in H7 and I don't think like that at all.

But thinking of consequences and different possible outcomes? I think I'm actually the opposite of that.

I do think relationships are very important and I feel more together (like in the sense of more organized) when I have boyfriend/husband/partner in my life.

My ex husband was the one who thought that way, for sure.

How about your job situation or education? I got saturn in 6th house too, capricorn.
I find it hard to go to job interviews, especially those were I actually want the job.
I get bored with a routine everyday life or job. But I'm still young so I don't know how it will be later on.

Saturn 11th (on the 10th/11th cusp) house Leo. Sun is in that house but not conjunct. Saturn does not aspect any personal planets.

It's nice to see that others with this placement experience similar things.

I'm very certain that people are drawn to the Leo Sun energy (sextile Gem moon). No question.
Then, something fizzles out. I guess maybe for them it's like seeing a good movie. Once those 2-3 hours are done, it's forgotten. (Friendships only last months)

I get depressed and lonely.
The difficult part is that I also enjoy being alone. I can only handle so much social "time", both friends or family and I need to escape. (exception would be my best friend)

I like one-on-one interactions the most, small groups are okay.
I hate anything more than that. More annoyed really. There are exceptions to this of course, but overall.

I have some very long term friendships, but only my best friend that I see or communicate with regularly. With him, I am completely free. I can be as silly as I wish, and that's what I enjoy the most. When I can just rattle off the dumbest things, no mind to mouth filter.
My best friend, and a few guys at work can match me and we just feed off each other. The things we say.... ridiculous!

Overall, it's disturbing. I very often wonder what it is that makes me forgettable. Because obviously I am.

Since discovering this placement in my chart, it's become easier to accept. More out of my hands and more just a fact of my life.
I carry on.... what else is there to do, right?

As for poverty, yeah I'd fear that. But I don't worry about it compulsively at all. I feel like I'm in a decent place right now.

I don't feel guilty about spending. I mean...I realize when I've gone overboard and I think "Wow, what a dummy!" LOL. But I don't generally feel like I'm not worthy of getting myself nice things. Maybe because my Saturn is in Sag?? Not sure.

I will say though that I don't often *expect* others to buy me things - lunch, gifts, etc. But I'd *like* for them to, since I am generous myself. I genuinely expect for most people to let me down in that regard. So maybe that is how my Saturn plays out?

I have Saturn in first. I have no idea what responsibility is. I have never allowed myself to be responsible. I have never had long term debts, I've never really committed to anything.

I can identify with the a lot of that.
I have phases where I'm very sociable and go out a lot, and hang out with a regular group of friends, but I generally prefer my "me time" and now my time with my family. Prior to that, it was mostly just work, significant other, and friendships made at work, hahaha.

I can be kind of lazy and reclusive about meeting new people, because I have a strange past and I often feel like I don't "belong", except in large crowds or one on one, where I feel like people tend to be more "real". Most of my friendships were either formed at an early age or at work.

I get lonely and feel isolated a lot as well, but it's completely my choice. So I mostly stick to hanging out with my family now. It works for me, most of the time. There are a couple of friends I keep in touch with and get together with occasionally, but that's about it right now.

Most importantly, I think there are many people, at least on this site, who do not find you so forgettable. I know I'm not the only person who enjoys chatting with you here, and as a matter of fact I've been wondering where you went to because I haven't seen any posts from you for a few days!

It's very similar for me. Everyone I know is from childhood or work.
A lot of times I'll have someone over and we'll hang out. Then, suddenly they just don't respond any more. THEN, like... weeks later I'll hear from them, "hey how are you?". I just kind of blow them off. But you know what? It's always women. So maybe they were all hoping for more??? Even if I did make it pretty clear that I didn't want anything. Ah, whatever.
I love my guy friends. We joke about guy things. It's usually more difficult to get in touch with them. They're all so busy all the time. I asked one friend that I hadn't seen in forever and yep, he was busy. He really was, I didn't doubt. It's just hard to set anything up.

I've been a little quiet lately. Just.. feeling kind of strange, stepping back... just not much to say.
Thank you for the kind words.

Saturn in aqua in 10th. I'm supposed to be broke until my Saturn return and so far it's true
Very strict family. Saturn square my Asc as well. I'm so used to restrictions and not having enough )

I also relate to not being social and needing space

I often blow people off because it's too much hassle for me to go out of my way to hang out. Much more now that I'm married, but I do kind of prefer to be by myself, in the comfort of my home in many ways.

At the same time, I crave communication with my Mercury placement, so it's good that we often have family coming to visit and stay with us. I enjoy my family for the most part, but I also like to have random conversations with friendly clerks at the store or whatever.

When I lived in the city it was pretty easy to just hop on a bus and go hang out with my friends, or go to a show.

Having a family has given me cause to return to being mostly a social hermit, but I click with people enough to not feel completely isolated.

Also, I've made a rule for myself that anyone I become friends with has to be "my kind of crazy". If they're beyond that, I tend to just stop answering my phone.

But yeah, Saturn in 11th. I kind of like my Saturn there, to be honest.

My Saturn is in early Aquarius, falls in my 4th house (ruled by Capricorn).

My mother was incredibly strict when I was a child. Though she became very laid back as I got older, when I was growing up expectations were very high and discipline was severe. I had to make all A's or I got privileges taken away, I was not allowed to eat any kind of sweets, I had a lot of chores, etc. etc. In spite of all this, I was allowed a pretty high degree of autonomy, especially financially. I was allowed to spend my money however I wanted. My parents were reluctant to drive me anywhere, so if I wanted to go some place, I had to figure out myself how I was going to get there. I took public transportation a lot, and was free to go most anywhere alone.

I think that this upbringing made me very self-sufficient. I paid for my college myself. I clean up after myself. I can cook for myself. I can shop for myself. Especially at college, I was often frustrated with how everybody seemed like children. They didn't pay for anything themselves, and could barely do basic chores without their parents around. I'm gritty and can fend for myself, and take a certain amount of pride in feeling like I had it tougher and came out stronger. I think the Capricorn work ethic and Aquarius sense of independence are highly relevant in my Saturn placement here.

I have Saturn in the 8th and that's how I am.
A loner who keeps to himself.

For me though, I have Saturn in the 8th in
Pisces.
I already mentioned how I view sex in another thread.

As for death, I'm very mature about it and can handle it. I found that out first hand when my father died. We were close, but we didn't live together. We seen each other pretty much every day.

No parts of the psyche surprise me and I'm never shocked with anything people do that would be considered weird, out of the ordinary or plain creepy to other people.

I'm still contemplating if there is even such a thing as the spiritual world. (Pisces)

I've always wondered about Saturn in Pisces. That would be an interesting sign to have Saturn in. I sorta envy people who have Saturn here. They tend to be mystically inclined, I've read, and metaphysical.

Saturn is in Taurus for me and it seems like a boring location.

Oh really? You shouldn't
I would think Saturn in Taurus is good because Saturn does good in earth signs.

I mean, I guess I'm mystically inclined. I like Astrology. Does that count? Haha.
I do notice that I try to stretch reality and make it more that what it really is. But I'm still unsure that there is a spiritual world.

While I try to stretch reality, I have an innate sense that what you see is what you get and there is nothing more to it.

There must be something more to it because there atoms and other particles you cannot see without something allowing you to.
I have so many twelfth house planets, I am far more interested in what is not seen than I am what is. Is Saturn in Pisces like this, somewhat? Saturn is in my eighth house, not twelfth, so it has Scorpio Saturn undertones.

Yes, I believe it is similar. I am interested in what is not seen, as well as what is seen, but just trying to figure it all out and integrate it into a full picture.

But maybe it's more Scorpionic because you want to go deep into what is not easily seen from the naked eye, so you dig deeper until you see it of it's essence. I feel this way too and we have different Saturn signs, so maybe it's the 8th House doing this?

You have Saturn in eighth in Pisces so you are probably better at this sort of thing than eighth house Taurus Saturn. Taurus is a very visual sign so it's not so much about what's unseen. Taurus is the "what you see is what you get" sign. Pisces is the sign of hidden depths.

Sorry I took so long to reply. My computer restarted as I was typing because it was supposed to restart and preform an update, but I postponed it and apparently, that postpone didn't register, lol

Anyway, yeah, I agree.

I think I'm psychic and intuitive if a Pisces Saturn will promote that?

I think I relate more to my Saturn in Aquarius from Vedic than Pisces Saturn, though.

Maybe the Taurus Saturn makes you only believe what you see, but at the same time, you're trying to see deeper than what you see, which is where the 8th comes in?

It's alright, don't worry, and if you need to leave to go to sleep because it's so late, I understand
That's what I thought happened, lol. You are an hour ahead anyway.

I've read Saturn in Taurus can to dull the senses. When I was a kid, my sense of taste was much stronger than average. It's gotten duller, which is good.

Also, certain fumes gave me bad headaches, like bleach and formaldehyde.

I've read Saturn in Pisces tend to be skeptical of psychic phenomena.

Oh, that's interesting that Saturn in Taurus can do that. Your Moon probably amplified that as well.
Yeah, I think having a dull sense of taste can be a good and bad thing because while you won't taste everything to it's best, but at the same time, it will keep you away from unhealthy, fatty foods.

I have a weird story. When I was young, the color red would give me a headache. (not anymore) It wasn't because it is associated with pain and blood, but rather because it reminded me of heat and the heat can sometimes give me headaches.

Lol, I am skeptical of psychic phenomenon, but at the same time, it seems like I cannot deny the receptivity I possess because I can pick up subtle influences easily.

Hopefully I won't lose this ability because I am telling someone that I have it, lol. Because the people who brag about being psychic are usually the ones that aren't, lol. I'm not bragging, but I am just saying that I notice it in myself. Also that I am not that good at it, yet, but hopefully I can master it. But mastering something intangible might be a bit impossible?

Maybe it's not psychic, but rather my sub-conscious mind picking it up. (meaning, nothing out of the ordinary)
Eh, who knows? Haha.

Yeah, I am kinda tired, lol.
Nice chatting with you, Starlight, goodnight

Hiya somethingexcellent!

It's Saturn in Virgo, 5H for me.

I don't think it manifests for me as trying to figure out fun or self expression so much as it makes me hyper-conscious and hyper-critical of what I express/create.

As StarlightSmileSupreme mentioned earlier, I tend to also enjoy crap people find BORING. For example, it is nauseating how much I enjoy crunching numbers and data entry. I have been working on an algorithm for a synastry program for the past 5+ years, and I am not sure I ever want to be finished.

I also make weird little games with astrology based rules, for my nieces to play with me. When I worked making video games I designed magical systems, item abilities, and quests. It's all writing and math, but it's like.. groovie dragon maths!

Oddly enough I left high school with 6th grade level math, because I could not pay attention to the subject to save my life. At one point I realized I would need math to understand astrology so I had to teach myself. I never expected it would actually make me excited. Weee nerds!

5H's brand of fun is Play. In order to play, one has to let their hair down. I think where Saturn feels like a hindrance for me, is the fact that it demands protocol be observed in order to experience the house it's in. To let my hair down and really play, I need to feel like I am being productive, constructive, and in someway helpful (Virgo).

It may be similar for other houses. For example, Saturn in the 7th may require specific protocol be observed before one is capable of relating with others. In the 6H Saturn may require certain protocol before the chart owner is capable of feeling like a functional and productive part of their environment. And so on.

I was cursed when I's born.
The saturn is exalt in Libra and tight conjunct my AC and this devil square my moon in10th, also conjunct my sun.

Hmmmmm....to tell you honestly , I don't know what the heck in my past life that put me to present . I was born by normal labour so I am definitly sure that I'm the one who choose to be this way or forced to be . Not like other Cesarian born

So , for a people who have the saturn in 1st , it's seem to be everythings can go wrong easily and have a hard time to satisfied a simple things ,plus I tend to worried a lot than usual.
But I just learn in this life after struggling for 30+years of personal , do nothing is the best solution .

Right now , I tend to slow everything and relax more. And try really hard to be positive .

One of my closest friends has Saturn conj ASC and I am envious of how balanced a person she is (no matter how much life places on her shoulders). It's unfortunate that Saturn seems to make her feel like she is never good enough. I am in awe watching her mature, she becomes more and more astounding a person every year.

Wherever Saturn is involved, there is always reward for perseverance and effort in the end. Kinda funny how Saturn deals with attempting to structure and solidify, while the key to surviving it is embracing impermanence. =)

Saturn in 11H. Pretty much what Violet/DeepFreeze said.

I reach out to people a lot and often feel unappreciated in friendships. I struggle to find an identity within a group and it's hard. Found a few that I grew close to but they left for overseas.

I learnt to take things lightly. People come and go. I probably need to learn to take friendships like an Aquarius does. Just enjoy as it is and leave when it's time. Keep the few that bothered to stay.

On second thoughts, marrying a best friend might solve the unappreciation that lingers.
