Hi guys, me and a friend are planning to open a restaurant/pub in early fall next year. I really want it to work as it's a huge leap for both of us. It's gonna be centered on American pancakes, pies and hamburgers but it's gonna be much classier than a fast food. I live in an European country and there's nothing like that here, but the demand exists.
Obviously I know that the chart of the business will speak volumes about how it's gonna fare, so I need you guys to help me with it since I'm not really a pro in astrology (though I ain't no noob either :P)
The fund accessing program is gonna be launched sometime during Feb-April of 2014 and we have to incorporate the business by then.
What counts most? The incorporation date or the opening date? (The restaurant will be on my name only.)
I know the basics:
- Mercury has to be direct
- The Moon has to be waning and ideally in Taurus or another Earth sign, and it has to make favorable aspects to the Sun, Venus, Mercury and maybe Saturn for longevity
- Jupiter and Saturn would ideally not be in conflict, since we need many approvals..
Ofc I know it's impossible to fulfill all the criteria but I was playing around with the date and I thought Jan. 10 would be a good one. Here's the chart for it:

So.. Sun, Venus, Mercury in the 10th house. Nice. The Moon is OK except for its opposition to Saturn, Jupiter trines Saturn and it's in Cancer, perfect for the nature of the business (does it matter that it's retrograde?). There are lots of good things going on here I think to myself, then I take a step back and notice the big grand cardinal cross.. Mars, Pluto, Jupiter and Uranus.. smh. Is this the sign of doom? Cause that's what it feels like. And also, Venus in retrograde which I think is bad since my MC is in Gemini.. and Mercury is unaspected.

Is this all that bad? Should I pick another date?
I mean February is no good because of Mercury retrograde all month, then in March, Mars will start to go retrograde till freakin' MAY! (

So again, I know it can't all be perfect, but I don't know which aspects would be doomed-bad, and which aspects are can-live-with-it-bad.

Should I also take into consideration my chart? :-S

Please help..!
Thank you

Hello, Octobie! Welcome to Lindaland!!

I think overall you have a good grasp on things! I think both the incorporation and the opening chart should be taken into consideration, but the one I would put more weight onto is probably the opening chart. I would also emphasize Cancer more, since this is a restaurant. I would also like to see benefics in the 2nd house since we want it to be lucrative. I myself would not do it under Venus Rx - and yes, I know about the nasty retrogrades! I had to choose a date for something recently and actually went with November, because otherwise I would've been forced to wait until July 2014. I think 10H planets are good, maybe 11H too because that is the house of groups and crowds and popularity and you need that. So I would arrange benefics in the 2nd and 10th house, if possible. What I noticed works wonders is planetary configurations. Grand trines would be dreamy, but kites are good too, or wedges. This particular chart of yours has a Mystic rectangle (good) but also a Grand Cross.. I would try to avoid it because while it gives stability, it also brings friction and hardships. I would also avoid Uranus in the 12th, especially so afflicted - and no to Mars-Uranus opposition, it makes me think of fires and short circuits. I would avoid it as much as possible.

If you don't want to postpone it too much, Mars Rx is better than Venus or Mercury if you ask me. This period sucks for choosing dates because of the retros. Oh, and yes, your natal chart matters too. Ideally, the business chart would make positive aspects to your chart, especially to 2nd, 6th, 10th and 11th houses or their rulers.

Good luck!!

Open at the New Moon, or a day or two before.

As for Cancer energy, pick a place with a #2 address, or one where 2 is emphasized.

8 - will demand a heavy outlay of cash.
4, or 22 - success through hard work. Emphasis on hard work.

Avoid Taurus. It's good for longevity, but if things go bad it'll be hard to get out of. Plus it's not an innovative sign.

I like a moon in Sagittarius, this because in two years or so when moon progresses into Capricorn your efforts should start bearing fruit. With moon in Scorpio real success will come in about four years. This is good because you get breathing room and the feeling you're building towards something.

With a Cappy New Moon, or Moon the burden may prove too heavy bear.

Hi, and Thank you! I was beginning to lose hope that anyone would reply

The thing is that I really don't think we will be able to postpone the incorporation much beyond January.. so is it acceptable that we go with the above chart for the incorporation, and just pick a lovely date for the actual opening?

OR we could do it beginning of February right after the new moon in Aquarius, and right before Mercury turns retrograde on Feb.6....

say February 4!

The chart would look like this:

Do you guys think this is better? :-/

Have mercury direct for all paperwork/agreements.
