Don't you think their energy affects each other PLUS the house energy?

For example I have Sun, Mercury, and Venus (AND the Moon, but it's far yonder away from the other planets which actually makes me think of another question) in the 11H. That's Leo, Gemini, Taurus, and Libra energy all commingling together, isn't it? PLUS my Moon is in Taurus PLUS Leo and Taurus are fixed, and so is Aquarius. Would it contribute to the personality in ANY way?

My second question is about planets in the same house but are far away from each other (like my Moon and then my Aries stellium) how does THAT affect the energy of each planet? Not aspecting but say we're thinking in terms of energy rubbing off on whatever it's near or touching. So if the Moon is far away from the Sun then perhaps the person feels their identity lacks balance?

This is really on the fly question, I may modify it as we go along if anyone is following what I'm saying.

First, take into consideration what sign sun, Mercury and Venus are in as these planets and the sun will all behave a bit differently in each sign. If they are all conjunct, it's a small stellium and there are mixed reviews on conjuncts and stelliums. They are thought of as good by some astrologers, bad by others.

Somebody with an eleventh house stellium has a lot of Aquarius to their personality and Aquarius-type activities will take more time than someone who doesn't have anything in house eleven. Parties, clubs, socializing. All this is in the eleventh house, so are firms, bureaus, high rise office buildings, sky scrapers. Whenever I think of the eleventh house, I think of these things, rather than small, neighborhood businesses like the corner deli.
I also think of I.T. and the internet, all sorts of modern concepts, progressive thinking, new innovations, futuristic ideas.
Eleventh house is modern, conservative, bureaucratic and democratic.

The sun and personal planets in the eleventh house could indicate you have a keen interest in eleventh house matters and the sun could mean they are part of your destiny, that you will have a career as an office or government worker.

The ones that are conjunct will not be as strong individually as the one by itself since the conjunction fuses all the energy together so it is no longer separate and jumbles up the midpoints. Once transits trigger the stellium, it could be a stressful, hectic time. You could feel this strain and might feel like your life is unbalanced at this time.

You can read the individual signs for some insight on the rulers. Aquarius and the sign they are in has influence, too.

SSS,

I appreciate your good intentions but I feel like you're missing the point on my post.

I know about the 11th house and what it rules (but ditto about having a somewhat Aquarian personality!) And yes, I do have a stellium. I only used my chart as an example.

My real question is wondering how planets themselves (different or in the same signs) affect each other's energy by being in close or far proximity. I understand it sounds like I'm asking about aspected planets or not, but I mean other than that. Using my chart again - I have Mars and Jupiter in Gemini in the 12th house. They do not aspect, but surely the energy of Mars has some kind of influence on the energy of Jupiter and vice versa? And then wondering what comes about when combining those two active forces with the energy of the 12th house.

Hope that clarifies my original post.

I can't tell you exactly what the theory is, but yes, I feel that planets close to each other in the same house effect each other even though they don't aspect.

For example, I have Venus next to Jupiter (scorpio) and they are both opposite Saturn (taurus). Lots of people say that Jup opp Saturn & Venus opp Saturn are difficult aspects. I personally have not lived them this way. So, my guess is that Jupiter gives luck to Venus. They work together to 'combat" the Saturn opposition even though they do not aspect each other (ie, J&V are too far to be conjunct).

This is just my feeling though.

First house stellium; Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto & Juno/Ast's.

If there are multiple planets in one house for me they will effect eachother, the planet closest to the cusp or in domininance will generally have rule over the others, like my Jupiter/Pluto has rule over my Sun/Mercury, i'm not sure if the signs tie into together, i'm assuming they do, as all the signs reflect..

Thinking of it physically always helps, for me, if you have the Sun and Jupiter in your 3rd house then your Heart, blood & energy is going to be near-tied in with your Hunger, humour, sense of good, within the sphere or mental communcation, movement and surroundings.. you will have your energy source within the arms acting along with the princible of expansion, if they are not aspecting then the one closer to the cusp (or the asc) will have more impact, in the same sphere of life as they are both within the same house of the self ?

I understood that part of your post, Hanna and my understanding is, the planets that are conjunct are fused together so their separate identities become one. The planets that are further apart keep their separate identities since they are not conjunct. So, the answer is, they do not influence each other unless they are conjunct. They do have a bearing on the activities of the house. If you have the sun in a house and it's not conjunct another planet, you use the interpretation for the sun, sign it's in, aspects it makes.
If you have sun by itself and then moon conjunct Jupiter in the same house, moon and Jupiter will have an entirely different interpretation since they are fused together, their energies become one giant force so you have to combine interpretations. No longer is it just about interpreting moon then Jupiter like it would if they were separate.
So when you start to interpret conjunctions and what kind of impact they have in the natal, it's a bit more complicated because you kinda have to make up your own reading based on the two that are conjunct.

i've been wondering about this as well. I have my my venus/asc in pisces in 1st along with my jupiter in aries also in first. I understand how my venus and ascendant in 1st are affected, and i can read about what it means to have my jupiter in 1st but i don't really understand how to have both in 1st.
