How many of you feel affected by the full moon?
How does it affect you, and what placements do you think causes it?

I can feel a full moon coming even if I haven't taken note of it on the calender. It usually makes me feel kind of anxious, irritable, and impatient. I also tend to release huge amounts of negative energy right as it passes, whether I'm trying to or not.

I do also. Depends on the aspects it makes. Either anxious or a sense if calm.

I always love full moons..
There's one outside my window and it's so beautiful and I feel at ease.
It's weird because I'm a new moon.
I have fantasies of moon bathing like kirsten dunst from the beautiful cinematography of Melancholia..
I'd post a gif but I'm too lazy and she's nude in most of them.

When theres a new moon I'm WTF WHERE IS THE MOON!!?!?!?!?!
lol :P
aren't you a full moon pisces sun virgo moon?

I don't think so...yet full moon means more light which can have definite if indirect effects, especially on those who live away from the city lights.

One thing I'm curious about, however...would a full moon be more prone to affect someone born on (or within 3 days) of a full moon, or a new moon? And vice versa the new moon?

If you're curious this calendar gives moon phases (you can change the country as well as the year, btw) which in this year lets me know I was born on a waxing crescent moon...and strangely enough I've always been the most drawn to crescent moons (especially waxing) for as long as I recall.

I personally don't think I feel it. I guess if I do then it's an increase in libido if anything. LOL

I have two nieces that work at the same daycare center. They've said they know when it's a full moon because the kids go crazy.

Oh placements that cause it? Hmmmmm.... I have Gemini moon but I don't think that's it. I keep thinking my Leo Sun.

Actually I feel like doing nice things on full moons.
Probably why I'm in a good mood today.
Oh new moons... the lack of moon kinda freaks me out I feel like i am free to do whatever I want....
Like mommy isn't watching over me and I can do all types of naughty things LOL.
I always observe the moon when I go out at night..

Some of them make me really super anxious and nervous. This upcoming one has got me slightly anxious but not as badly as the ones in libra we had.

Whatever full or new moons happened in libra this past year (and also reviewing them I'm years before I started studying astrology) make me so nervous I'm afraid to go out of my house. I definitely don't like full and new moons in libra, the anxiety is deafening.

I am. We live away from city lights...

I started a thread in July, named something like, "It's a sodding Full moon, isn't it?" I hadn't even realized, until a meltdown had occurred. Not that that one was so unexpected, considering. I read on ElsaElsa, that sadgies are having trouble with this one; I know my mother is. I dealt with an emergency here the other night - a *big* one - that I won't go into, because I regretted telling anyone (not wanting to embarrass a family member - I'm trying to stifle the urge to just vent away).

I was born on a full moon.

For My whole life (until I turned 30) The week of the full moon I could never sleep. Wide Awake and energized. Now I sleep right through it, but definitely feel its influence.
We get more crime calls on full moons than any other day.

Oh yeah. I watch a lot of shows like real ER shows and stuff.
Emergency Room staff always say full moon nights are especially busy too.

I like the way they look in the sky, especially when blue. I like the Harvest moon, it's a couple weeks after my birthday. In 2014, it will happen six days after my birthday.

Nah, I never notice it. I do, though, sometimes have...special dreams when the Moon is in early Aquarius, conjunct my natal Moon! Special dreams such as dreaming of things that happen later on...

I was born on a Full Moon in Gemini and I feel every single Full Moon. The Moon is my 12th house ruler...

I never fail to be awake all night the night before the Moon is full and I'm often extremely anxious and irritable, to boot.

I just looked it up exactly, and I was born about 30 minutes before the full moon passed here in the state I was born in.

It's always the days leading up to the full moon that I feel more sensitive around. Once it has passed, it's really nice and calm. It's like the energy builds up everywhere and then gets released.

When I worked in psychiatric settings and at the homeless shelter, I would always dread having to work the two days prior to a full moon. A lot of the time I wouldn't even know it was forthcoming, but everyone would be acting so weird that I would have to look.

Maybe it really does affect people who were born during that particular Moon phase, or maybe with prominent water signs?

I've noticed that, too.

If it's in a complimentary sign that makes me feel comfortable (to my chart, not necessarily just my Sun), I can feel pretty good.

I often get a lot done right before the full moon, spiritually and around the house.

Full moons usually make me a bit anxious. I feel like something is about to happen or that I'm about to burst and release some kind of something. I feel very "full".

How do you think this full moon would affect a cancer sun and sag moon?

I used to think that I'm not because I was not born on a new or full moon but apparently I am. i have no idea if this has to do with the fact I'm a Cancer Sun but I learned not to take out posibilities.
Today I received some not so good news about my health and had a wonderful headache all day.
I noticed I get headaches when is New of Full Moon and my mood goes wild.

I'm sorry you had to deal with unfortunate health issues, I hope that improves for you.

My mom is a Cancer, and she's also very sensitive to the full moon energy.

We joke about not planning visits around the full moon, but we're only half-joking.
I find that I drop things more, get annoyed with inanimate objects, and generally would prefer to be left to myself if possible.

I've been bartending for fifteen years, thirteen of which were at a big nightclub. I especially noticed it with larger groups of people, as my co-workers and I would groan about how it's going to be a wild night tonight because the Moon's Full. The bouncers were always busier, more people would get 86'd, and we'd have to call the cops more often.

My mom is a doctor specializing in psychiatry for the State. One of her jobs involves overseeing staff that take care of offenders who are the 'worst of the worst' and she says she gets complaints from the staff that prisoners act-up more during the Full Moon.

I wonder if these days there are so many scheduled and induced births these days L&D doesn't get a noticeable increase in business anymore?
