Each of us is complex to a degree, of course, but what do you think makes a person noted for being complex? Or perhaps, more correctly posited: what, if any, astrological indicators do you think there might be that point to someone being perceived as more complex than average?

I have a theory that the mismatch between Sun/Moon and the Ascendant (ie, Sun/Moon in Cancer/Pisces with Ascendant in Sagittarius) might point to a situation where what-you-see-isn't-what-you-get. Conversely, I could also see Scorpio and Aquarius influences possibly playing into this (for different reasons of course, haha), but I'm curious on your perspectives, as well!

Water signs are the least straight forward of any of the signs, so if you want someone with lots of layers, look at them...

Air signs will add complexity to any other element I think.

But alas, I have to ask what you define as complex? Do you mean a tortured soul, or someone unpredictable?

I dunnoooo hannaramaa, from what I've seen, air signs are usually the most straightforward people! Sure they can have lots of fluff to cut through and they can be high maintenance, but they aren't usually complicated people.

Complexity to me means having many layers...and much depth to your personailty. You can see things from many different angles, basically.

It has nothing to do with being weak, confused or indirect AT ALL. At least not for me! I'd say I'm pretty complex - very upfront about who I am.

Aries/Cancer/Libra/Taurus/Cap make-up my personal planet persona. So I cannot be put into a box!

NOBODY gets me. Even I can't figure me out. I am a mystery to myself. And I am always in some sort of inner turmoil. Like I feel like I am always stewing and on the brink of a crisis. Does this answer your question haha.

That's because air signs act like well air heads because they don't want people to get too deep with them.
They aren't complex in the tortured artist way that water signs often go through.
Air signs Just have multifaceted personalities this is why people don't really understand them.

With water signs people assume they are sensitive and spiritual most of the time.. Personally I never found water signs to be that complicated, I usually get an idea but not really with Pisces
Mutable signs are a bit all over the place.

Personal planets involved in numerous configurations, like the apex of a talent triangle AND a T-square.
Personal planets with numerous aspects, or outer planets with numerous aspects to personal planets.

Or what Cappy said. I've seen that, too.
