I am noticing two types of indigo children.Well...three 1st type...the super genius children who have outrageous abilities such as a new sensory ability (velociperception). These are the children who will eventually develop technology which will neutralize the power issues involved...think how the internet displaced media on telivision...they will be funded by the patriarchy but will ironically ensure its waning. 2nd type...the ones aware of the other side, behind the veil, the oneness, of it all, but they do too many drugs and are bringing back a lot of negativity by repressing their own materialism while judging others for theirs. I notice they are also opening themselves to spirits by doing too many drugs. This is an example of the new age hippy born in the 90's and late 80's. The bob dylan and janis choplin wannabees...they are very open and insightful but lack discipline. 3rd type....the ones who experimented but also conformed and are in hiding. They have built the discipline of prudence and discretion, and truly exist in two worlds, but are often alone and secluded...this is an example of the corporate ceo who is a closet astrologer. They are the inverse of type 2. They are open but too disciplined and suffer physically from repression. IP: Logged |

Indigo children are born before 2000. After 2000 there aer CRYSTAL children.
I remember reading about these kind of special children and I discovered I am Indigo although I don't like to think of myself that way. To be "special" means you cannot live a normal life. No matter how extraordinary ordinary people may think it is the truth is... its not that really. Its like having autism (because people with autism ARE extremely intelligent contrary to people's beliefs).
Normally Indigo and Crystal children cannot integrate well into the society. I have a fair feeling that my nephew is a Crystal child. He has ADHD and children see him as different. He sees things diffently. ADHD is not only abour not paying attention its also seeing things differently even though one cannot understand them.
Usually Indigo and Crystal children are born to parents who are 100% ordinary with no spiritual or supernatural beliefs. While the child has a superior intellect the parents are mediocre (to say so). These children were born with special gifts to engage in special missions. To create something, to say something, to teach others something, to do things ordinary people cannot and arent meant to do.IP: Logged |

I'm afraid this thread doesn't belong to this board. Anyway, have I mentioned yet that I'm not buying this?  I can understand it though, most people want to feel special (or see someone as such) and some of them want it so much they need a magical label.------------------

i have to agree....Even if it is true everyone wants to be a special snowflake.. That's the problem with this theory.

That's the thing - we really all ARE special snowflakes. It's just that Indigos are here to do a specific thing. I think where ppl get confused is when they assume one specific purpose makes one group more specific than another - cuz we're all here to do SOMEthing and learn something. IP: Logged |

Everyone wants a purpose too.. Honestly it sounds like every other spiritual concept. Just all scified Frankly I really don't care.. people can believe it if they want.. I just wish it was more interesting..

Everybody has a purpose. The indigos are just the ones that are supposed to shake everything up so it can be fixed later. Thing is people try to turn it into some thing like they're (we're?) special, separate and superior which is asinine. It's just a job title and everybody's got one. IP: Logged |

My experience with this is that I was labeled an Indigo by an older new ager and the characteristics pretty much fit. But one of those characteristics that she herself noted was Indigoes were strong willed, independent, and resistant to rigid, dogmatic authority...but when I demonstrated this characteristic to some of her beliefs and arbitrary demands I was instantly demoted and no longer and Indigo.I had a similar experience with being called an Old Soul. As a result I just ignore the label. One is what one is regardless. (ETA: Btw, I don't fit any of those 3 descriptions in the OP.) IP: Logged |
