What's the correlation between Retrograde Mars and (homo)sexuality.

I read a few posts about RX Mars in the natal charts and how it "reverses(?)" masculine energies.
Something I've struggled with my entire existance; the balance between "proper" masculine and feminine behaviors.

Reading mars RX nearly made me emotional because I learned its part of my Nature.

Any insight on this? Opinions? Rebuttal?

I've always suspected that Venus was the planet of homosexuality. But, in a world where homosexuality was a natural variant of the human condition. Not as a vehicle for political or social expression.

In the beginning the Morning & Evening star was called a he - Lucifer. Then this same star was renamed a she - Venus. So Venus:"Goddess" of beauty and love was born/originally a dude.

My suspicions were piqued when I saw an old Vedic depiction of Libra as a male with short hair, makeup, lipstick, and earrings.

vhm, in my my mind's eye I've always envisioned Venus as more of a RuPaul type than say a Marilyn Monroe or Pam Anderson.

The verdict, imo, is still out on Mars.

I love that connection! I never knew the Venus/Lucifer story.

First thing I saw in my mind when I read that was Michaelangelo's the Birth of Venus.
Maybe that's why (s)he's covering his/her genitals?
Renaissance art was never bashful about the human form, deity or human. Why cover up Venus if we know what her parts are? Cryptic messages regarding the sexuality of this specific GODdess?

Now my head is swimming.
