Any Saturn 3rd houses? Mines in Capricorn. Trouble with socializing at times?
I put a big emphasis on being social and social situations. It's hard to talk and relate to people at times even though I really want to. Been trying to become more at ease with it, actually, this is pretty much the story of my life.
Anybody experiencing this?

Is there any aspect to your natal saturn?

Do you still have a good 11th House? If yes , it could help with your social interaction.
My friend has 3rd saturn , he is brilliant in math , he 's not shy , his 11th is empty , his saturn make no affliction to his personal planets.

I have natal neptune in 3rd , but I will have saturn transit in 3rd next year . For me , I'm kind of waiting for it because As a person who has 3rd Neptune , I could speak direct from my thought clearly and hope it's not hard for anyone to understand .

You seem to know more about astrology than I do. Here is my chart.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Another Saturn in 3rd house here. Mine is in Scorpio, conjunct IC and square AC.

Yup, I have a hard time socializing with those I'm not familiar with. I think and repress a lot of what I say, I don't reveal easily, and I have a harder time getting warm with others. Strangely, I have an easier time to be myself when talking online than in real life lol. I also do better in one-on-one than in groups.
People might perceive me as shy or cold/uncaring, so I have to put some effort to be self aware so that I'm not sending such impression.

But I try to improve myself, and be more confident in order to allow my inner self surface. I like socializing even thought I'm an introvert who charges her energy with solitary times, so when I meet people who are extroverted and fun, I tend to get along easier.

As for your chart, your Saturn doesn't seem to be making any hard aspect, but it's retrogade and then it being in the 3rd can indeed limit/restrict your communication skills. Good thing is, Saturn demands extra effort, but when you graduate from its lessons, you can actually become a greater communicator with a structured mind. Where Saturn sits on our chart, it shows where we have to put extra work, but can dominate well once we master its lessons.

You also have Uranus and Neptune there, with Neptune square Mars and Uranus square Moon. Jupiter and Chiron are opposed by Neptune and square Mars as well, from the 9th house. Your mind must be very active, your way of communication should be unconventional and original. You are also philosophical.

Lastly, you have Pluto sitting on your 1st house and you have Scorpio AC. Pretty intense impression you probably give. :P It can contribute to having harder time to relate to others, since you have a deeper outlook and personality, that you probably are not too into small talks or superficial interactions. It's not that small talks or more superficial interactions are not good at all, it's a way for people to initially warm up towards each other, but you might not be a natural when it comes to this, even thought your Gemini Mercury likes to interact and exchange communication (well and Gemini Mercury and Sun are in the 8th house, so you don't reveal easily and prefer deeper interaction).

I don't have my Saturn in the 3rd (it's in the 2nd). But, looking at your chart both you & I have Uranus & Neptune in the 3rd. So you have diverse ways of communicating when you need to!

You also have Pluto in the 1st -- stop being like me!! LOL

You have the same Sun/Moon combo as Tupac - Gemini/Aries. He was very social, intellectual, fiery, bold. This should be able to offset the "seriousness" of your Saturn being in the 3rd.

Let me also add that my Neptune & Mars are in Capricorn - sitting in that 3rd House. So I'm not sure if that has the same effect as having Saturn there or not.

But if it does - I've *surely* overcome any difficulties with it! There is definitely HOPE for you Darksoul! I had communication issues (on & off) when I was much younger - having Chiron in Gemini added to that. You know what though??

I'm a total SOCIAL BUTTERFLY now. I still need my "me time" sometimes, of course. But I really do love interacting w/ people now more than I ever have. I can get w/ people from ANY background too!! It's very fun & enriching for me. You'll be just fine, too.

I can relate a lot to that. Sometimes I can be the center of attention and sometimes I absolutely fear it. I think I like one on ones better as well, but I love going up and talking to random new people though. Sometimes I find it hard to relate to people ive known for so long. Even family. I find it hard to talk when Im really fatigued and mentally exhausted. Im not talking about just being out of breath after a run either, its like my social life reflects directly off of my mood. Idk, maybe its just bc sometimes Im not in a talkative mood, which sucks, bc deep down I want to talk but its hard for some reason.....idk maybe im just an idiot? Who knows, you know? Totally kidding...but seriously ya i find that i can easily be myself over the internet unless Gemini/aries has me by the throat that day without any scorpio influence, then i can be myself in real life. I crack myself up when im by myself...i ask myself, "what in the hell is wrong with you?" Ive been trying hard to relate to ppl lately though, Id rather listen to other ppl and sit back and laugh rather than speaking sometimes, but sometimes i do like to talk a lot. If any of this even makes sense. One of my biggest hurdles is being able to take other ppls point of view into consideration. Ive kind of got the its my way or the highway attitude. Which isnt right all the time. When i can feel like i dont have to impress other ppl and allow them to be themselves by respecting them as a fellow human being, this is where the true beautiful connections are.

Youre right about extra effort. I definitely put in a lot of extra effort in being social. my mind is extremely active I don't know where the hell the off switch is on this thing. nobody has ever told me that I was philosophical but I suppose i am.I am very intense at times especially when I'm passionate about something. Even in small talk I put in a lot of effort it just depends on the conversation though. Thanks, I dont know how you read the chart so well, but its all spot on for the most part.

Yeah, id say my way of communicating is odd to me lol, so it is original but most people are original in this area. Gemini/aries does offset it at times but I do have strong Scorpio influences as well that can make me rather reclusive, mysterious, and intensely serious at times. Whats Pluto in the first house like for you? Lol, enjoying it? Thanks for the encouragement by the way. What does DP mean?

I have 5th house Saturn, but yet i have it transiting my 3rd house. When it did enter 3rd house, i began socializing very well. Before that i was very shy and reserved, not anymore. However it has brought me problems with concentration and issues with wanting to study (i don't want anymore).

Saturn in 3rd house.

Need for restriction, arms are constricted in movement, "heaviness" to movement and mental state, serious in discussions and moves towards studies(writing etc) and authority in communication and learning, not so good with fun in this area, generally good with responsibility, strong shoulders (depending on sign) slow mind, heavy mind, heavy arms, heavy shoulders, deep mind, intelligent, will learn to be wise and take responsibility in communication, studies, slow thought and shoulder-length movement, distant, cold, steady, conserved.

In Pisces Saturn is in some places very weakly positioned, but in other ways, greatly positioned. This is probably the only sign Saturn isn't a planet of detriment towards others with. Structure is weak, control is weak, mental state is like the sea trying to be still.
But compassionate, sensitive and spiritual towards reality. This is one the placements Jesus had in his Pisces Stellium and the same reason Justin Bieber calls his fans "Beliebers"
Talent with poetry, writing, deep wavering imagination, easily addicted, easily lose control, concentration takes time, weak bones, weakness in the physical house placement, spiritual views to reality and devoted to less fortunate.

For me Saturn is on the leftwing of a highly pressured T-square The Apex is on Pluto in Scorpio, Scorpio ascendant and Jupiter in Scorpio, the right wing is a 9th house Mars in Leo, which is opposite Saturn in Pisces in the 3rd house

What do you mean by transiting? Like passing through?
