I would think anyone with mostly fixed personal planets would have this issue. Cancer is known to hold on to things.IP: Logged |

If its true love never. If its not a few weeks, months or even years.
I'm a Cancer and if its NOT true love I won't hold on to things. At least not forever.
It is said that fixed signs have a hard time to let go. Its true, especially if the angles are fixed.
Venus square Pluto has a hard timer to let go. I have this aspect. Took me almost three years to recover from a break-up.IP: Logged |

I have always taken awhile to get over relationships, a few months to a year...if they ended abruptly, if the relationship wore itself out and I was trying to get out before it ended, of course then it doesnt take long to get over!
My last love was real, very likely my twin flame according to iQ, it's been 4-5 years n still haven't felt anything like it again, i tried to date but it just made me miss the bond i had...it hurt more than it helped. Right now I'm happier single than to try to replace that relationship, ive been this way for almost 2 years, i know im happier than if i tried to settle and be happy with a relationship that isnt what i really want from a relationship! I feel even if i never love again....im happier not trying to fake love, be kind of happy and pretend its something that it isnt.

I take a long time to get over relationships. 
I put it down to my fixed Scorpio Sun + Venus combined with my Taurus Moon.
My North Node is Cancer too...

It depends on how much I loved the guy. If I really loved him and know he really did love me, I will never get over him, he will be a part of me forever. In a good and healthy way. I'm 30 and there is one person and maybe 1-2 candidates who I feel that way for. The most painful stage lasts for about 3-6 months right after a break up. (or only 5 minutes if I had already lost the connection with the guy). But now that I'm older I know that relationships are relationships and if you're feeling too depressed it's not because of the break up, it's because you need to improve and learn to love yourself.
