Is there any majors in college that are related to Astrology? I've been researching this since I was in High School and I am now a sophomore in college. I have always had a passion for Astrology since I was 10 years old, but once I found out that I couldn't actually go to school and study it, I pushed it to the aside and put it in my "hobbies" category. As I get older, I'm realizing that Astrology is probably one of the most things I'm passionate about if not the only thing so I wouldn't be happy or than goal-driven trying to peruse anything else. Of course I want to be financially stable in my career, but actually doing something I absolutely love is more important. Any information on this? How do professional Astrologers become professionals? Any information would help. IP: Logged |

Depends on what kind of learner you are. Some people need structured learning and if this is you, then by all means join astrological associations and sign up for their classes. Others learn differently. Not everyone has to go to astrology school to learn astrology. There is an incredible array of astrological books and resources both online and IRL, anyone obsessed enough with the art will read as much as he can on the subject, will study any chart he can get his hands on, and start to see and understand patterns. It does take years and yes a lot of obsession, and the road can be uneven, but that's how I learned. ------------------ http://www.lightofthestars.com Every Chart has a Gift IP: Logged | |
