All the chart configurations (i.e. t-square, yod, etc...), are they only accounted for when it's between planets, and not asc, mc, chiron, or nn?

Thanks!

Yes only between planets. Angles, asteroids, karmic points have other purposes related to planets and houses.
Post a chart for a more complex analysis.

Yes Chiron and other asteroids can be a part of a configuration. But planets are the ones that are the biggest imprint on your personality by far. I believe the ascendent can be a part of a configuration as well. But the ascendent doesn't have a special energy feeling to it like the planets do. But it is something. Cant describe what right now. So if the ascendent can be a part of a configuration then probably the IC, MH, and descendent do too. At least im pretty sure they do.

And to truly know if you have a configuration with asteroids you should go to astro.com and enter the names/numbers of asteroids that you want to see in your chart. Then when your chart comes up click "more detailed information" or something like that. Then you have to find out if the asteroid is close to being on the ecliptic or not (the ecliptic is the plane that all the planets rotate around the sun at). Because for example if an asteroid is opposing the Moon but is 28 degrees south of the ecliptic then the aspect between those two planets is closer to being a quincunx/inconjunct then an opposition.

I think a lot of people think they have aspects that aren't the true aspects. And how to find the true angle I am not too sure. You could do some trigonometry maybe like A Squared + B Squared = C squared. It's easier to just calculate planets angles. They are all on the ecliptic. Except the moon can get 5 degrees away from it.
