Eighth house comes to mind. I have moon and Saturn there and I cannot handle watching them ew. I have a really weak stomach. So, must not be the surgery house or maybe it's due to afflictions? Maybe there are some with eighth house planets who eek out a living this way? Eighth house sun, maybe? Or Venus?I have wondered what kind of charts people who do a lot of surgery or work in slaughterhouses have. I cannot fathom doing such things. I admire medical personnel who can do all that without getting grossed out. I also wonder if there are any people with Virgo emphasis who do? Everyone I know with a Virgo influence irl cannot handle anything gross without throwing up. IP: Logged |

http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Category:Vocation_:_Medical_:_Surgeon I love watching minor surgical procedures, my dad had a few abscesses and cysts cut out over time and I get really hyper about it. I have Pluto in the 6th and I'm an Aquarian so I am curious and dispassionate anyway. I really enjoyed dissections as well - dispassionate. You have to divorce yourself that it I s a living person or creature that is being cut. This comes with conscious thought and with exposure/practice.
Here's a chart of a famous surgeon http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Christiaan_Barnard Emphasis on the 6th and Mars, which rules surgery is not strong here but emphasises the humanity of it. Often 8th house placements, things like Mars in 8th or 10th, 6th house emphasis, Pluto in prominent places like the 1st or 10th or some Scorpionic energy. Sometimes Uranian too. Another one listed: http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Donald_M._Douglas_(surgeon) http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Jean_Hamburger http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Christian_Cabrol (ruler of 8th conj MC). http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Jacques_Rogge (didn't know Rogge was a surgeon! Mars in 10th) IP: Logged |

Surgery fascinates me! Anything gory and bloody will catch my attention. Nothing grosses me out except vomit for some reason.I have Mars in Gemini in the 6th house. My 10th house has Saturn and Pluto both in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

This sounds like an 8th house/Pluto thing to me. By that I mean strong pluto (aspecting a luminary, or highly aspected in general), or a few planets in the 8th.I USED to be that way but now suddenly I can't handle anything anymore - I blame that on some transit or progressions in my chart. I lost my edge lmao. IP: Logged |
