His ASC exactly conjunct my IC
His ASC exactly conjunct my Lilith
My ASC exactly conjunct his SN
My ASC exactly conjunct his Lilith
His MC exactly conjunct my Venus
His MC exactly conjunct my Mercury
My MC conjunct his Jupiter by a degree.
Plus all this there are other great aspects like Moon exactly conjunct Venus, Neptune conjunct Moon, Venus exact sextile Mars and Venus, Mercury conjunct Sun, etc.
So i am not really sure on what exactly makes attraction happen in synastry. So you cannot say that the other person does not feel for you if his angles are not activated. He may very well not feel for you with his angles activated as well...
Angle contacts (conjunctions) are paramount.
However, what they really do, is bringing planetary energy to the foreground, the centre.
Picture it like this. The planets in aspects really are the picture that the sky shows us above our head, so they are part of the celestial sphere. Their connection to angles is what brings this celestial energy down to earth, as the angles are so tightly tied to the earthly realm, they bring things into manifestation.
For it to manifest a romantic attraction you of course need a romantic synastry aspect to be brought forth by the angles.
It doesn't really help attraction much, if you bring forth a T-square of saturn-pluto-uranus by touching the angles. (unless of course either of these planets are part of yur romantic profile).
Not even Venus on the angles will result in a romantic attraction all the time. It should do so though, if it is part of your very individual romantic profile AND participating in a strongly romantic synastric aspect.
In my case my Mercury (and Sun) conjunct his Moon and MC (and Sun) IS romantic, because Mercury rules my DESC and Moon rules his 5th house (it is a situation where both planets are part of the attraction profile, so I consider that pretty neat).
from my perspective it can be read as that he illuminates or makes me very much aware of my Mercury/7th house needs. Something abut him seems to be exactly what the doctor prescribed (for me).
Of course since it is his MC and Moon as ruler of 5th house doing the connection, it has a lot to do with the way he is anchored in the world in real, almost Saturnian terms, some kind of clear visibility, public standing, how he positions himself in this society and with 5th huose ruler involved his creative playful side as well.
As for midpoints, usually it is the midpoint person, who is most affected. However I was wondering, if my Moon/venus-mp was triggered by someone's Venus, maybe the Venus-partner would feel a little echo as well. Sort of like the sum of my feminine energy
i do think however that is only true if personal planets are hit.
