It can be any types of relationships, but I am more specifically interested in long term committed partnerships such as marriage. Did astrology help you resolve some conflicts you had through the use of synastry and composite charts? Did the understanding of your composite chart help you rekindle the lost spark and life of the relationship if it was ever lost? IP: Logged |

I've been into astrology for almost a decade, mainly analyzing my own chart, the charts of my loved ones, and my relationships (mainly the one with my husband who I've started a relationship for 8 years, 1 year of marriage).I can tell you that yeah, astrology have helped me a big deal, as it worked as a guide and a map for me to understand things better. I can understand things better as I say them translated in the symbolism of astrology, in structured, logical ways that can guide my emotional perception. If I can look at the chart configuration and identify the reality with it, then the chart configuration clarifies and simplifies the relation of things to me. Thought it's important to be in touch with reality too, as in not depending too much on astrology, specially if one is not experienced yet. You don't look at the chart and think, "it's all doomed!", as you don't really know for sure. What if there are less obvious patterns and aspects? How can you know? Or maybe you have interpreted the symbolism wrongly? So if astrology is showing something you can't really feel appening in the reality, then don't blindly trust it, specially coz you might not be reading it correctly, or reading everything that the chart is offering. After years of looking at the charts, there was a time when I've stopped checking astrology, not coz I was too obsessed (or maybe it was lolol), but to get in touch with what's in the real life after learning from the charts, in order to not depend too much on the charts and refine my intuition again. Well said, so of course I agree. Astrology also helps me be compassionate (he can't help it) and optimistic (hey, our progressed composite looks good for the upcoming year!) It helps me put things into language that would otherwise be difficult to pinpoint. And there's an old saying, "People tend to value what they can name." With friendships, it's similar: astrology helps me be secure with people, knowing what our strong suits are, and also confirms sensitive areas or inevitable tensions. So when there is tension, I'm less likely to blame it on me or them, but the dynamic itself. IP: Logged |

Yeah it's interesting to look into the chart when they are just an interest at first. And looking at my chart and transits showing the relationship progressing or learning how to be in a relationship with Saturn transits. A few times I freaked out with my guy...nothing in MY chart explained it. I looked at his. He was going through a Venus Square Uranus transit. The Second time it transited his Venus was the scariest and hardest for me to go though. I had to get advice HERE and how to deal with my guy going though this transit. He is going though it again...but I feel like it's in a good way this time. (I believe he will be going through this transit til February) It's been on and off his Venus a long time. IP: Logged |

We got some professional readings, some of the things they pointed out are quite true. What really does help is the analysing of natal chart, transit n return charts. He's especially interested in his Saturn return (he's gonna have it soon) and what it may mean for his workn career coz he's cracking a few plans right now. Saturn is in his 10th house, so yah...
