Something I've never read about (maybe it's out there, just haven't found it yet) and that I've noticed through people around me is that people with this aspect are prone to having suicidal thoughts for no apparent reason. Whenever they're upset, they just start getting them, without justification (like discontentment with life, etc). I think it's stronger with the Moon/Pluto aspect, however I'm not sure.

Any thoughts? Has this been written about before?

They suffer from depression.

hmm I must be lucky then. haha

One time when I was 10 mom would not take me to an audition. I could not stand not getting my way. So I did something pathetic. I told my mom I would kill my self. She did not feed into me saying that at all. (now that I think of it, I did not even know what committing suicide was something that people can, and would ever do, until the year before that from watching a cable show about a haunted apartment or something.) I even waited for my mom to walk by and try to make it look I was trying to hang myself in my closet. She didn't buy it, and I of course was not going to go through with it. So I stopped.

My mom wasn't perfect of course. But I'll say that was good parenting. If she would of caved in to me threatening her, to kill myself. I would of pulled that every time to get my way. And saying something like that and not being serious could label me mentally unstable.

Glad I learned as a kid not to threaten people with suicide to get my way. Cause doing that as an adult...really?!

Like people in a bad relationship, if someone is abusive or just has issues, they could threaten their partner with suicide. I was with someone like that. He had a Cancer Moon. We got in a fight. He was bi-polar and un medicated. I wasn't going to cave into what he does to get his way, I went into the garage talked to a friend on the phone, and she told me to come over and get away from him for a bit. She lives an hour away.
I never pulled this with this ex. He wanted me to come back even though I was at my friends far away. He kept blowing up my phone. And he threaten to kill himself.
So basically he was saying "you have to do things my way cause if I kill myself for not getting what I want, IT WILL BE ALL YOUR FAULT"
At that point I knew I was in an abusive relationship, I read that guys that do that are abusive. But I also read that you have to take someone seriously if they talk suicide. I text his sister and let him know how he was acting.
Oh and OF COURSE he promised he wouldn't do anything if I came home.

But yeah, I'm glad I learned not to become a monster like that.

I cannot stand when someone says they are going to kill themselves and doesn't mean it at all. Whether it's a psychotic attempt to have control over someones will. Or attention...like is someone that is really suicidal going to make a fb status about it!? like "I can't take the pain anymore, I'm going to end myself"
I could be partially wrong...but to me that is like someone saying "I'm fat" So that way people have to tell them they are not. Luckily it's something I haven't seen a lot. But it makes me sick.

My sisters middle school friend DID. I didn't know her super well anymore but we kept in touch on fb. She did not make a status like that...but she did post a bunch of goodbye songs to her wall. The clues where there...but still SUBTLE.

When I was a teenager I WISHED I was dead half the time but it never went as far as planning anything - deep down I have too much hope for that, I'm the type that thinks things like "What if the next day after you did something like that, things were going to get better?"

In general Moon-Pluto people are just very emotionally intense that doesn't mean we're going to ACT on everything. We have storms, they pass.

When I was 19 I was in an "online relationship" (don't laugh) with someone and made the mistake of mentioning in passing to them what I just stated above in the first paragraph. I don't know if my wording with him was just sh*tty or what and he misinterpreted it as me being like actively suicidal right THEN or what - I'm assuming that's the case though because later I had people he'd told henpecking me implying that I'd told him I was suicidal to headf**k him.

I was like "I never said I was suicidal, where the hell did you get THAT from?!" To this day people still think I was trying to hold onto him or psychologically terrorize him with a non-existent threat of suicide. I wouldn't do something like that to someone, and one of my own cousins, offed himself by jumping off a city bridge in my mid-teens. I know what suicide does to the people that get left behind.

My friend's ex pulled the same stunt on my friend. He threatened to commit suicide if she left him. I was standing right there and told him "Go ahead. You are responsible for yourself. She isn't." I then told my friend that if she's so concerned about him then maybe she should call 911 and try to have him undergo a psych eval.

He stopped immediately.

Unbelievable theory , but my closed friend has Scorpio moon , she is a stellium virgo . Her saturn make ONLY one aspect . It sextile some planet I forgot.

When we were young , she was turn down by a man and she attempted suicide by take 20+ tablets of sedative drugs.... she's lucky that , there's no serious thing happen.

And right now she is fine . But thinking about it , till now she 's also has no idea how could she did that before?

I have Moon / Pluto and I've never been suicidal but my parents have. I think the Aries and my other favorable moon aspects grant me the strength to not "go there." Maybe Moon / Uranus and Gemini ASC leads me to feel numb because I'm so cerebral? Not sure.

My Scorpio ASC, Sun, Moon, Venus friend was suicidal and so was my other friend with Pluto in the 1st, and my other one with Pluto in the 11H. Both the House Pluto people they were singletons and the effect was pretty strong I guess.

((( whaaat ))) that's terrible, I am so sorry. Glad you here today with us.

I can't speak about Scorpio Moons, but Moon/Pluto types definitely have very depressing/suicidal thoughts sometimes. The vast majority of the Moon/Pluto (hard aspects) people I've known (and I've known quite a few, and am one myself) have/had some self-destructive impulses. Which makes total sense since the Moon is a very soft place, and Pluto is... brutal.
Often Moon/Pluto folks develop some obsessions or compulsions to avoid dealing with their inner world because it's so scary. Addictions and escapist tendencies are common, and they may not seem that destructive but they are still harmful because they prevent the person from taking an honest look at themselves (like an obsession with working out or distracting oneself in some way, to avoid thikning/feeling and facing the inner world) although there's usually some self-awareness that pushes them to change and face their fears, sometimes after many painful experiences.

moon square pluto here. it is an intense aspect. when things dont go as planned, picture all 4 seasons in one setting. the volcano erupting, typhoon you name it we feel it. never thought about suicide but there were times when i prayed to die.
us moon sq pluto people are some of the best natural psychologists in the world but when angry steer clear away. we are "the raging kali par excellence" and it is not fun. so at a moment of intense emotions, anything is possible.

Since Pluto is moving on to oppose my natal Moon in Cancer, I can better understand the "Plutonic" vibe.

I've always had very intense feelings- with Moon in Cancer. But this transit is adding to them; making things seem very "black" or "white".

So I think that if you have had suicidal thoughts before, Pluto can revisit those and make them more acceptable to ones psyche.

Moon in 8th here. I usually keep jumping back and forth between the mood of loving my life & the mood of having suicidal thoughts. So either everything feels great or everything makes me want to kill myself. I’ve gotten very close once...“This too shall pass”.

Yes! This too shall pass. I remind myself that when I'm down. If we don't feel down sometimes, we can't appreciate happiness. Total cliche I know. There is truth in the cliche.

Great point!

As an Arian, I've never had suicidal thoughts. Ever. Have I been depressed before?? Yes, but even that is rare. Moon *trine* Jupiter + Aries influence = a generally optimistic, fiery soul.

I have Moon *trine* Pluto and Pluto is in the 1st. I'm unafraid of depth & intensity...but I am not AT ALL obsessed with death.

But that's just me.
