How bad is it to have a Sun in the eight house? I would like to know cuz a small boy in my family has this. It is the only planet in the eighth house. Other than sthat Quaoar is conj Sun.

Mars, Pluto, Mercury n true node in Capricorn 9th house. Moon in aries. True node is sitting on mercury. Jupiter conj Uranus in pisces eleventh house. Neptune in thw tenth house.Asc Taurus. Also he has Uranus square mars. Is this an accident prone aspect?? Any insight would be appreciated. This boy has a temper but seems far more brilliant than kids of his age.

I have Sun in Sagittarius 8H and though I have experienced my share of big lessons early in life, I'm not sure there is a danger aspect to having your Sun here.

Sun in 8H is difficult to explain, but life is often about acquiring a deep understanding of the self and its mechanisms. I would be more concerned about the Aries Moon, as the more careless and impulsive side of Sag is enhanced by a Moon that tends to instinctively grab what it wants before contemplating the consequences. Having Sun and Moon both in water houses (hopefully) will tame and introvert those impulses a bit though.

Ultimately, there are a lot of people who live successful and happy lives with their Sun in the 8H. They just often live with a transparent perspective of reality that only other 8H Sun people identify with. =)

As for the rest of his chart, I also have Mercury Cap 9H and Mars square Uranus. In high school I was a gymnast, and I have a sense of movement and environment that makes me quite agile. I would not consider myself accident prone (especially for a Sagittarius with Sun conjunct Neptune).

Mercury in Cap 9H can seem a little spock-ish or asperger-y. You are ultimately dealing with a mind that perceives vast concepts and is then forced to cram those concepts into tiny words. We can come off as weird to people who don't get that our communication process is not personal it's practical.

Finally in regards to the Mars square Uranus, I can have a temper if I let myself get carried away, but I am more likely to harm myself before I harm anyone else. Where this aspect really manifests for me is it contributes with a few other aspects, to create an endless pool of energy. I can go a long time before I get burned out on anything, and if I pace myself, I can devote myself forever. In my youth I was also easily given to burning bridges. Mars/Uranus together enjoy drastic change.

Xiiro I cant thank you enough for your reply. Ur reply was very helpful and we feel better already. In vedic astrology Sun in eighth house is a very powerful placement but wr are looking at western astrology.
N yes Aries moon is a very impulsive energtic moon. My elder brother has almost the same placements as this boy n he is now head of an MNC branch in India .
N what u said about mars sq Uranus is so true with this boy. He tends to take too many risks n even when angry doesnt hurt others. He walks out from the room. I think his will power is beyond my ability to fathom.
Again thank u soooo much. U made our day : )
