I can never relate to any of the descriptions for my Moon sign. It's not just one or two things either, the entire description is usually completely off for me.

Does a Scorpio Moon fit you more? If so, it may be your Moon in the 8th house is overshadowing your Capricorn Moon traits.

I'm Aries Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury/BML, plus a few asteroids there, and I don't find myself fitting many online descriptions. Thing is, they are often too generic. They'd describe me as selfish, impulsive, whatever, yet I feel that Aries is often being misunderstood for what it is. But when you study its symbolism, try to understand what it stands for compared to other signs, and understand that there is a difference between mature version and immature version, as well as take the rest of the chart into account, things would make much more sense. I am very Aries, just not as it is often described as.

My Cancer Moon fits me to a tea. It's in the 8th house, emphasizes it's sensitivity and intuition. I can't imagine not identifying with my Moon.

No one relates to Cap Moon interpretations because they are mostly exaggerated and not very accurate.

Capricorn means that while you were growing up you saw your mother figure through a Capricorn lens, e.g. She was always working, focused on her career, making money - she was the primary bread winner, she generally taught you to be responsible and put career before other emotional things.
As an adult your emotions are very structured. You know exactly what you feel and why you feel that way. You always have specific reasons to feel the way you do. If someone asks you for example - why are you so sad today - or what makes you so cheerful... you can actually list specific answers.
You wouldn't be the person to say "shrug I just feel that way".
You are probably analytical so you are likely to know what you want in a relationship and have very clear and defined likes & dislikes.

I never relate to the stereotypical interpretations of my moon sign but I blame it on the aspects and the house it's in; I think those change the game ALOT.

I noticed that the OP is male. Maybe it's just more difficult for men to identify with their moon? Plus it's in the 8th, and energies do tend to get buried in the water houses.

I do! my moon and rising is in taurus so it being in the 1st house makes me feel and act more like a taurus. Plus safety and security is highest on my list of priorities even when in a relationship. I can never be comfortable with a person who is too out there or flakey no matter how intelligent they may be or how attracted I am.

I'm lounging in bed wanting to take a nap as I type this. haha

I have a Cappy moon too in the 9th house and I can only relate to it for about 20%. And I've been to 2 astrologers + the online descriptions, it just doesn't fit me all that well.
So, is it possible that the house overshadows the sign? I didn't know that was possible. Oh also I have Capricorn in 9th house...lol

Probably because you sun and moon tightly aspect each other.

The traits just combine together.
Like sun conjunct moon for example.

I am so-so with my moon's description. I can really relate to Gemini moon descriptions, too, and my moon is less than three degrees away from entering that sign. It's officially in Taurus.
I feel moody and changeable like the Gemini and I alternate between being over talkative to saying nothing at all just like the solar Geminis are said to do.
I can kinda relate to some of Taurus moon. I am extremely maternal and protective of those I love and I like to be comfortable, mentally and physically. My comfort level tends to play into my moodiness. If I am uncomfortable I will shut down.

I don't see you as Gemini moon in any way.

You have Sun-Moon sextile which is pleasant. I don't see why you would reject your Moon. Or maybe Cap moon is too serious for Pisces.

I'm a Gem moon, and while I do intellectualize my feelings I don't talk incessantly. I also don't need constant technological stimulus. When I'm in my personal space relaxing I shut everything off and sleep/relax in silence. The less distractions the better.

The only electronics I own are my laptop, my cell phone for work, and a fan. lol

Phones annoy the *^$# out of me, Can't count how many I've thrown out the window!

I can relate to not talking incessantly, HPDBlue. I'm just the opposite really.

I used to think I had the wrong moon sign or something but now I realize the descriptions online are just cookbook interpretations. You really have to consider the entire chart. I have a bunch of Capricorn and Saturn in my chart so no, I don't talk just to talk.

What sign do you feel like?

I doubt you even know how to read yourself. You seem to have issues going on.

Gemini moons aren't even as talkative as solar Geminis.

Yes, I do have issues with rude people such as yourself. Very astute of you to understand.
Pat yourself on the back for your all-knowing ways.

Let's see. That sounds very stubborn with a sting, doesn't it? How is that even Gemini moon?

You have been going around thinking you are a Venus in Virgo when you are a Venus in Leo.

You think you have a Gemini Moon when you are a Taurus Moon.

You admitted to having a Libra stellium/rising but everytime a negative trait of a Libra is being talked about and you identify with it, you conveniently blame it on your Virgo Sun instead. For some reason, it fails to get to your mind that if you have plenty of planets in one sign in your chart, that sign is going to be a large part of you.

All of the above sounds like you are very much indecisive about everything in your chart. Sounds familiar? That's so Libra....

Well these descriptions are too generic. Also besides moon, other feminine energy like neptune and venus can be very strong in a chart that the emotional responses aren't just moon (besides aspects to moon et al). I am an aries moon and I just met an aries moon the other day. My god, she's so Arian. Her gem rising kinda makes her even more fickle. On the other hand, I feel like since venus is my chart ruler and I have strong earth and saturn presence, I just cannot respond to things like the way she does.
My moon is in 12th so I never knew how I should feel about the Aries moon description

NEVER have I ever claimed to have Venus in Virgo. See, it just proves you have no idea who I am, not only in real life, but on Lindaland, too.

Also, you could look at the moon's decan and duad for further insight.

My Cancer Moon is in the Pisces decan, with a Gemini duad. My Sun is in Pisces duad of Capricorn. I'm a Capricorn with Moon in Cancer, but there definitely are Pisces-like tendencies in me.

SlightSmilingSupreme,

If your moon is at the end of Taurus, it's in Pisces or Aries duad... Perhaps you relate well to one of these signs in terms of your Moon energy. 27'30 is where the Aries duad starts, before that it's the Pisces duad.
