this transit explains A LOT but how long can I expect it to last? Pluto is also transiting my 12H (and has been for over a year) Life's been crazy to say the least & I've become involved with a Pluto guy - Scorp Sun and Asc... I also have 9th H Libra and 5th H Taurus - how will this transit affect these areas? Here's my chart with current transits on outside IP: Logged |

It's in applying opposition so it's only the beginning. It'll last until December 2015. Good...luck...! In 2016, your ASC/DSC axis will be affected by Uranus & Pluto. More fun Oh and your Moon is touched as well, duh. It's gonna be an interesting few years for you.

Welcome to my world, Dear Earthling!! I have a Cap Moon yet to be conjunct with tPluto and a Cancer Stellium. Mercury opposite tPluto is coming up followed by moon conj tPluto and then Sun and Venus opposite. I think I will finally be sane again sometime around Xmas of 2018...IP: Logged |

I have been through a slew of Pluto aspects, starting with T Pluto conjunct my Mars and ASC in 1998; followed by a conjunction to Neptune and NN in 1999 and 2000. Then a bit of a break. And then Tr Pluto conjunct my Mercury and Sun in 2006 and Tr Pluto conjunct my Venus in 2011 and 2012 (only mentioning timest hey were exact). As a matter of fact I think I am going to miss Pluto on my Sun and Venus. I am not looking forward to his upcoming (in 2016)opposition to my Saturn though. This one looks rather nasty.
But anyway, I didn´t experience Pluto as that horrible, even though, ys, of course it was quite a ride, and not awalk in the park, and cathartic and all that. But i a way it was also quite fulfilling. At least it was not boring. IP: Logged |

Moonstruck,as far as I see it Taurus is in your 4th house, not 5th. Anyway, so Pluto rules the MC in your chart, and happens to move through your 12th house.
It will affect not only Venus (ruler of IC in 6th house) but also Moon (ruler of DESC in 3rd house), thus will trigger yuor natal Moon-Venus-square. We see that the cardinal angles of MC-IC and DESC are affected. One possible manifestation could be that there will be some tension (or at least development and change) between your relationship and your family. It could also be that the tension will seemingly come from the outside (MC), and it might hit you sideways (Pluto is in 12th house), bringing a lot of subconscious material to the forefront. In fact your relationship might be instrumental for doing that, bringing up old dormant issues, either surrounding family, or simply the tension between the private sphere of the IC and the public one of the MC. Education or career could also be influenced by this, since Venus is in 6th, ruling the 9th, and Moon is in 3rd. Actually since Venus and Moon are placed in 6th and 3rd house, these are the areas where this change/ transformation will become manifest, though the reason for it might lay elsewhere (relationship, family, social status).

Thank you all for those amazing responses Are pluto effects always negative? 2013 realllllly sucked for me so I've been hoping 2014 would be better but it began literally 1/1/14 with my son hospitalized for asthma at 5Am... Ugh I'm just really mentally tired Any suggestions on handling these long transits? IP: Logged |
