and i would be waiting for human contact to be established eagerly but it never did. Then they would look away as if the conversation never happened. I don't know what's so hard with telling me "I don't know".

BTW please feel free to have Sun / Moon / Asc combination or anything more you wish. The only reason these are Sun sign based is I find usually people get very spooked when I ask them about their birth place and time, so unless they are really keen to see their charts and times I do not ask as I find it intruding their privacy but that's just me. If you know better combination then please let us know.

I agree my point wasn't too make it a shallow thread but hey what the heck if people have had bad relationships, or things which annoy them or make them laugh then why not share it with others. I think at times there are problems or specific things signs do and you notice it as a pattern. The post was about trivial things, small things which you see anyway like body movements, gestures and fixation on certain things ( not necessarily negative or positive)

Anyway I think some people make sense of other people's personality with/without astrology at 3 levels.

1) You judge by Sun Sign alone
2) You judge by looking whole charts
3) You judge not by astrology and as humans
which you would again start judging by color, gender, etc. etc.

I am not sure which way is mightier than another. At the end of the day we as humans are incapable of not judging as our brain wants to have data from past and categories to put them.

I know some people who are so good on this board who would be able to look at your face and tell what sun sign,moon sign and ascendant you are ? If you are guy want to date a girl you do not even have chance to open your mouth or show your personality as before that you are being labelled and judged.

4) You do not judge at all

Firstly that would be a lie as astrology is a great judging and predictive tool. Being here in astrology forum is sort of proof that you like to know people and put them in categories according to their birthday, irrespective whether person being judged is liking this or not. You would even go ahead and nudge that person to give you their birth time so that you can draw up a chart.

The reason you are using this is because you are trying to use it as a magnifier glass of someone's unique personality.Stop using it if you do not want to judge.

I like to judge but with more tools than less. Yes, it makes a difference but you are still judging somebody who is very unique

OR you are control freak wanting to know the future and can not take day to day things at comes - your present.

I think it is a limitation of astrology (or my knowledge). Many times I have been frustrated with it as I feel astrology is very shallow too and have thought of not using it.

If you do not judge then you are at risk of keeping up with and tolerating bad behaviour.

At the end of the day astrology is nothing but people's collective opinion (positive or negative) on what they have experienced and we all are learning from it in linda land. I think that is positive destiny.

Lindaland is also a support group for lots of people who are tormented in their life and needs some explanation on what happened or why something was wrong. It works as a healing tool as well.
