Something that came up on another post that never got replied to.How do you determine if a planet is unaspected? What is your take on it. Example - I have Venus at 26 deg Sag. The closest bodies to is are: Moon 20 deg Libra (never counted it as a sextile but Sun and Moon can traditionally have massive orbs*), Chiron 23 deg Aries (never counted it as it is not a luminary) and Saturn 29deg Cancer (never counted this as I have always considered the quincunx to be a minor aspect and I don't use minor aspects to define an aspect). What do you think about it all and would you say I have an aspects Venus. PS, the unaspected Venus description, I can relate to. * http://www.skyscript.co.uk/aspectorbs.html

I'd still count the sextile to the Moon. But if you feel like it's unaspected, maybe that's how it is for you. I don't know much about unaspected planets to be honest, since I don't have any.IP: Logged |

Unaspected planet has no major aspects but can have the quincunx and minor ones.I would say no aspects between 8-10 degrees is an Unaspected planet IP: Logged |

Unaspected planets are a place of concentration in the chart. Look at an aspect as a leech from another planet, so if the planet is unaspected it has pure freedom ...Brad Pitt's unaspected Serpentarius Sun 1st house is a good example. So, really through the Moon alone, I would have an aspect. I have to go read a few descriptions about this and see if this fits with my persona. This makes sense, the Moon is a major luminary and traditionally is given a wide orb. Thanks folks, for your input. M.blade - seems you have an aspect, especially since it is the Sun that you're dealing with. IP: Logged |
