Yeah I get it… they like smart witty different people (or people who follow their own drumbeat etc.) they like humor and whatnot. But what really makes them take notice of an individual, what makes them say "they're special!" and more specifically "special to me"

What a difficult question. I've felt that way about plenty of people (friends, lovers, etc) and almost always for reasons unique to that person.

Though I can say that if I were to peruse dating sites I'd automatically skip over all the "generic ones" (you know, say they love music and movies without specifying, love walks on the beach, all the stock cliche answers that about everyone uses). People who put out unusual adventures or ideas would be more attractive to me than some selfie with the "standard" that makes them look like everyone else (and thus timid, dishonest, or even boring because that's what everyone else is like).

Oh, and no "looking for a soul mate." Despite being a woman with a lot of 3H Libra that would make me run for the hills and I imagine the guys are even more inclined to run from that (not to say I'd mind finding a soul mate over a dating site but there's a difference in discovering one and someone trying to turn you into one, and the sad truth is most of those looking are more about turning others into what they desire rather than finding it, or at least in seeing what they want to see rather than what is, and then there are the players to avoid as well who try to trick you into seeing something in them not actually there).

However, if I had a lot of earth in my chart then I might not appreciate uniqueness so much, and if I had a lot more water and less air then I might analyze less and what drives me away now might instead hook my imagination (into seeing what I want to see rather than thinking it through).

Is this a rare Moon sign? I see a lot of Sag Rising and Sag Sun but I don't think I have ever seen a Sag Moon.

Just wondering what your experience is with frequency of Sagittarius Moon.

As for me, I AM a Sag moon. Got a stellium in my 5H Sag, perhaps why I tend to get along (but not always) with Sags so well.

I've known four Saggy moons I can think of off the top of my head. Unless that was for Pixie, I wasn't sure.

Yeah Pixie, he has 6 planets in Capricorn, 4 of which are part of the top 5.

They'll like someone who they can learn from. Someone who intrigues them in that manner..

Thank you! So I guess it depends on what they're interested in at the moment

I've seen you mention Sags before.

Here's what you do wrong.

You care too much what they think. Ppl pick up on stuff like that. Just be yourself and say and do what you want and stop worrying over whether or not they accept you.

Btw - they don't really like unconventional people, either, so if you were going to play up your quirks to try and win them over that'll backfire. My sister is a mega-Sag and she acts like I embarass her; my ex is a Sag moon and his primary complaint was that he thought I was too "weird".

What I think they DO appreciate is you just being yourself whether they like that or not. And if they don't tell them to go the hell.

I agree with this. Also we do appreciate adventure. Which doesn't have to mean finding someone to travel the world with who speaks 6 different languages (as amazing as that would be lol) it really can just be simple things, like for example on a date I'd much rather do something fun outdoors or *go* somewhere interesting rather than just the typical dinner and a movie... If someone has similar passions, and I know I can grow/ learn from them all the better

Basically connect with them as an individual on an intellectual level and you should be good. I actually don't know many male Sag moons irl, but the females I know aren't much for playing into the girly girl gender roles in relationships (even if we still present ourselves a certain way in public and all that) so maybe the males have similar views? Idk enough male examples to comment on that though, but I think to generalize they're looking for more than just a trophy wife or arm candy who will tag along with whatever they're doing at the time. They'll be attracted to someone who is more independent and stands out for having their own interests whatever those might be (unless they're the weird brand of conservative Christian Sag which is hard for me to wrap my mind around lol)

Someone who is genuine and humble, doesn't try hard to 'fit in', doesn't care about what other people think of him, someone who can laugh when he makes a fool of himself, shy(and hot), doesn't draw attention to himself and most especially someone who treats me differently among other people. You can just feel it..its like a "thing" between you and him and only you two knows about it and thats what catches my attention and makes someone stand out.

Sagittarius moon, scorpio venus.

Romantically, the people who grab my attention have been the shy/quiet seeming ones who are receptive to my communication. A good intellectual challenge is always nice. I don't mind arguing, but keep it civil and stay on topic. Calling me a fat-head because I disagree with your politics is a turn off.

I could be mirroring here, but I think this moon sign is one of the detached and aloof placements that needs lots of alone time. Picture the "thinking man" - an individual lost in thought.

This is one side of the personality anyway. When not entertaining the troops with a dazzling show, we're alone thinking, juggling ideas, coming up with the next sermon/lecture/idea.

They respect people who challenge them in an effortless way, not overly aggressive or in your face....they just like it when they realize someone knows things, things they don't know but once they realize you do, they want to know you because you intrigue them!
It can't be put on, they will see straight through that! It has to be something that your all about with or without them! They love ppl with passion, a quirky passion is adorable but any passion is attractive to them!
They love happy ppl that surprise them often enough that they don't get bored!

I dunno how but I just landed in his 8th and we've been together for 7 years and our emotional/thought are sooooo different.

You said he has 6 planet in capricorn ? I think when you finding to match this part could be better than just one moon?

Btw ,I remember that you are Aries , so you should get along well with his moon.

Good luck

I like his Capricorn placements, I've always liked Capricorns I figure it's the Sun, Mercury, Venus square to Saturn in my Own chart plus Taurus Moon trine Saturn, and Saturn in Capricorn the 7th so close to my Sag DSC and finally 8th house ruled by Capricorn! So for some reason I never worried about how to get along with that energy.

That's the spin version of what they're like.

The one I know doesn't want all that stuff above although he'd probably claim he did.

Sag is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of good times. Bluntly put, they want a party-girl/boy. Which will they will never cop to, but if they feel like they aren't having good times with you they'll bolt if they think you're too serious-natured.

Seriously. That's true of the one I know. All the different women he's been linked to are all different, different looks and everything. The ONLY thing they all have in common is the constant search for personal pleasure - even the one who people claim is supposedly profound pretty much lives to dance and smoke weed.

If you don't want to hear that you should "be yourself" and want a straight answer to the question (even though that answer is correct) - if you're a party girl you're in there. You can't be too heavy or serious. Your hobbies have to be fashion. Makeup. Dancing, Gettin' high. It's really not that complicated.

I noticed the same thing with my Sag moon Sister.
She totally treats men like accessories, if she's going for a more edgy look she'll keep around a man covered in tattoos. Doesn't my guy look nice with my heavy liner and deep lip color LOL.

It's really funny because Gemini outwardly seems like they are looking for vapid party animals but the reality they are looking for people who can stimulate them and keep their interest other than partying
While sag projects this wise philosophical nature but I noticed they are prone to the dish of the week mentality.
Anyways gem and sag are pretty similar they shop around until they find someone who versatile enough to keep up with their lifestyle.

Sag eventually hooks up with party hopper Libra.

Ok I'm sorry you had a certain experience with your ex but this is pretty generalized. I will cop the guilty plea to at one time being too into partying (during an age when many people are) but there is more to life and more to my personality. I've also been the anti-social nerd obsessed with school and getting good grades (Cap Sun)

The love of my life is a Cancer who hates partying (although yes he's a different race, nationality, etc.) We would always just stay in and talk for hours about life, spirituality, etc. I fell in love with his intelligence and his mind, really that's what no one else can compare to... it had nothing to do with "flashy" anything. Although again I can cop the guilty plea to "shopping around" as Kero said after things haven't worked with him.

Sag moons will always like interesting or "different" people, but I think it's for more than just shock value, it's a way of "traveling" metaphorically, or being exposed to those differences that we crave. I've dated other races and nationalities, but then again my longest relationship was with a white boy from the Midwest lol. Anyway, just saying yeah the immature ones might party too much, but if anything I think it's just an outlet for the restlessness that comes with being a Sag moon. The mature ones know there are other ways of exploring and having fun. Especially with heavy Cap influences I think we actually want someone who can ground us or pull us back from that to an extent, but yeah we still might see the agenda of having a white picket fence, office job, and a mini-van as somewhat of a boring death sentence. So I guess you're right we're complicated lol. When it works it works though, we're not impossible to please...

I agree with this and with Pixie.

Personally, I like unique people. They don't have to stand out or look unique specifically. But they have to have something to say, be interesting, intriguing, smart (not just book smart, street smart, intuitive, whatever kind of smart) and funny. Intelligent/clever funny, not slap stick or potty humor.

And you have to be yourself. I can spot a phony who's trying to hard a mile away.

ETA: haha. I wrote this without reading all the replies and IMoppedtheFloor's first post is spot on* I like someone who is unique inside, the sort of secret hidden or at least you have to look for it uniqueness, not someone who is "off the wall crazy too weird". Isn't that Aquas who like that?

(*Second post? Not for me about the party boy thing. I like party people for fun but not for forever. And people who only talk about make up and fashion? Hell no! lol).

Must be mirroring, as Nine put it.

my brother has a Sag-Moon, as has my crush. Oh and the exboyfriend of my best friend has a Sag-Moon as well.

(I must be drawn to these with my Sag-placements, including, Sun, DESC-ruler Mercury, Mars, ASC and NN )
