Like people you got very destructive aspect with, as for an example mars/uranus/pluto squares or sun/venus/pluto square?

So you have had many friendships who ended this way?

The thing is, when we have Planets that Aspect each other, we tend to attract those who do the same, whether in a positive or negative fashion.

Sometimes the ones with the more positive Aspects help teach and equalize the energies of the difficult ones.

I'm still learning to balance my own energies and the energies in a tense relationship.

I can see that if you have many pluto squares you tend to attract the same aspects in synastry?
I have many uranus squares and neptune, and I always run into people I got these squares with

But the ultimate lowsy aspect you can have in synastry is pluto I think and bad mars aspect?

I don't avoid anybody based on astrology. My best friend in the world is a solar Gemini who's sun squares mine and it is like our minds are joined and we need each other to mentally function. My advice would be to befriend people you feel chemistry with and if you feel like looking at synastry, fine, but don't be discouraged or surprised by what you find.

Not unless I've actually had a negative interaction with them. I don't look at the chart, expect negative, then avoid people. If I look at the chart, see negative, then actually that bears out in their behavior towards me, I do admit I pretty much pretend they're dead lol.

Nah, I don't. I deliberately throw myself in the deep end all the time. (sun semisextile Pluto) There's always something interesting about "bad" synastry, always something to discover.

No, I meant when the same Planets are in Aspect Natally. (Perhaps not strictly on topic.)

If you have the Conjunction between say Venus/Uranus, you often find other Venus Aspecting Uranus people popping up in your life.

So you attract what you are to a certain extent; even if those people have a more or less pleasant expression of those Planets than you do.

Sometimes if you have a more positive connection, you balance out the Energies by being exposed to less pleasant ones.

For instance, I have a Stationary Domicile Saturn. I often find myself left in charge of the responsibilities of Retrograde Saturn people.

A Celestial Balancing Act, sort of like batteries equalizing.

I don't avoid people just because of bad synastry. I'll probably avoid them or distance myself from them if they drain my energy.

I often check their natal charts first. I don't even check synastry until after they've done something to me lol then I'll probably steer clear of them. I don't wanna base things on a few harsh aspects. I share some really "nice" synastry with some people - lots of trines n sextiles - and the interactions were terrible.

With my close friends and s.o, plenty of squares and oppositions. My stellium squares their sun or moon.

What kind of squares do you have? Cause if it is the more "harmless" squares it's not really a big deal, but if it is a lot of squares to pluto, mars or venus I think it's more difficult?

^ Yah, hmm on top of my head, I remember that one of my friends n my s.o have their suns square my sun/venus/Neptune/Uranus/Saturn

The other friend's moon square my stellium, her venus oppose some planets, and my pluto oppose her sun n mercury. With this one, our synastry chart is very "busy" and full. Funny though, I've never really had a "real" heated fight with her - well mostly thanks to her grace lol she' a very reasonable person.

Apart from the squares there are many trines and sextiles n conjunctions. So yeah it works. If I see a synastry chart full of only squares n oppositions I'd probably feel a chill too.

I know a Venus conjunct Uranus with a fetish for weird, psychology unstable women. Last I know he was boinking some schizophrenic woman who thought she was a fighter in God's army.

He also has Pisces Moon - gives a tendency to want to try to save what's irreparably broken. She freeloads off of him too. does a lot of questionable stuff, and then when he expresses problems with it (which is rare on his part he's not really renown for his backbone), she plays on his hyper-accented Neptune for sympathy with lies about being abused and bullied in her youth before crying about her weight problem.

He does have Pluto in aspect to his sun so I suspect at times he really does see right through her, but with Mars in Taurus, he's gonna stay put because he likes stability, even if what he's used to his actually INstability, but he's had an unstable life, so he really wouldn't know any different anyway.

Well, I have Pluto-Sun-Neptune Planetary connections, but in a good way, so I would help to balance those who go overboard on the powertrips and all, which is the point I was trying to make.

Venus finds its Higher Octave through Neptune, as well.

No, I pretty much base everything on what I experience without paying much mind to charts. I only look at someone's chart if I'm curious or studying a certain aspect, or if I notice a strangely negative (or positive) interaction between us.

I agree with Ellyn, though. We do seem to attract others who have similar things going on in their charts. It also seems to run in families like genetics sometimes.

I think it is just the opposite, Violets.

We are born into our family BECAUSE of those associations.

We always look outside ourself for answers, when the answer lies within.

I know, Violets, it's almost uncanny how alike we think.

Never thought I would find a sister so close to my heart.

Even to the internet awareness, miss mousy...

I agree. A little off topic but I find it interesting that many of us dissect Astrology down to asteroids and other times generalize based on Sun signs when we feel like it.

Anyway, I agree to just follow your gut. I like to look at synastry sometimes to get an idea of what energies are at work and sometimes just to match up what I'm feeling. Ultimately though, I still follow my gut.

I'd like to avoid people that I have bad synastry with, but I don't always have the choice - my boss's Mars is opposite mine! I've never known anyone who makes me feel so restricted, micromanaged, bullied and generally downtrodden and criticized. I boil with anger inside on a regular basis because of her utterly diabolical management style.

My partner told me that she has had awful times with bosses whose Mars opposed hers, and now sees it as a red flag, so I guess it might be something experienced by many people. I'd be interested to know if anyone on here has experienced the same.
