It's not that - it's not like i know hindi. I'm just curious by nature - and when it comes to a "foreign song" that sounds pleasing to my ears - i have a tendency to check for the meaning behind its lyrics. As was the case with - "Benny Lava". Knowing that it's a parody tickled my curiosity - in finding out what they're really singing about: Vaanil". The proper translation gives the song a new meaning - which can imply a different feeling - a different form of appreciation. Well, there was a time back in the old days (in my childhood) - when i used to watch foreign movies and try to guess what they're saying (it's how i learn a bit of foreign languages - even English) - but that was back in the days of the television - while now... we have the internet. ^^
