I know exactly what you mean Me and my boyfriend also have the venus conjunct mars, where I am the very late virgo mars and he is a very early libra venus… I think the virgo mars is on the cusp of libra, so in that way it feels like a normal conjunction…We also both have pisces moon but I think the conjunction is very wide (perhaps 11 degrees or more) but I can definitely feel that we have the same style in terms of emotions and everything else connected to our moon… Because my sun is also at 23 degrees virgo and his libra venus is only between 0-1 degrees it forms another aspect out of signs, but I can still feel it very much between us I think it's hard to say which is strongest, but I would say that aspects are some of the strongest in general, though it's always good to have the same signs, cause it makes you able to relate to each others energy no matter what IP: Logged |

just my opinion, but I'd rather see planets in the same sign unaspected then conjunct through other signs. it just gives similarity which is healthier for relationships.IP: Logged |

But don't you know that degrees over 23 is beginning to take form of the next sign… the degree is more important than the sign I think. A 0-1 degree virgo is 100% more virgo than a 29 degree virgo. The 29 degree virgo is much more like a libra.

this is not a perspective I would agree with. I guess everyone can see it however they want, but to me a 29 degree virgo is a virgo, not an 'almost libra' - they do pick up some traits of the other sign, but they are not the other sign and will not have the energy of that other sign as their default mechanism for dealing with things. so a 0 degree virgo and a 29 degree virgo I would still consider as amiable partners since they are both pure virgo. imo :-) IP: Logged |

Both are 6 degree, yet very powerful, masculine/feminine energy, One is out of sign, another is within a sign. Soooo... as you mentioned the later degree is weaker. I agree now, buuuttt, isn't early degree the strongest, especially 0 degree??? Like in my case, my Sagittarius Moon is 0 degree supposed to be the strongest, but it's widely conjunct my bf's Venus in Sag. Late degree is kinda 70/30 energy... Like my bf, who is 29 degree Leo Mars, but to be honest, there is nothing submissive (Virgo) about him at all lol When he feels like sex, for example, he's the biggest Lion in the world. Very passionate, aggressive, loving and the pure fire. I'm not questioning your knowledge, just trying to have a discussion I still think, that wider aspects are more potent, that out of sign ones, because later degrees are too weak to have the energy of the next sign, and early next sign is too strong to have energy of a previous
The virgo-virgo conjunction would be stronger, but the 29 degree is tricky, and the person will feel a bit stuck between the two signs, often unable to chose what to do.. But I also think that 0 degree something is the strongest. But the late degrees is naturally more adaptive to the next sign, and they can easily understand the energy of the next sign too. So maybe a 6 degree virgo venus is very strongly virgo, but the 29 degree leo at least has some understanding of the virgo-energy and can easily be in sync with the early virgo venus. Is it understandable at all?;D I have many late degree signs in my chart, both a 27 degree virgo mars, 23 degree virgo sun and 29 degree pisces moon. And they form aspect with fire and air people all the time, and I often get along with them also.
