Hey all, thought I'd come to you for another "Guess Her Ascendant" thread! I've just gotten her birth information and am eager to see if what I've found matches up with appearances.You can feel free to guess Sun and Moon as well, of course, as you may be picking up on those energies, too. The first row of pictures is a compilation of pictures of her in her 20s and 30s, while the second is a progression to her 40s and 50s (present day). Thanks for playing along! No Im not going guess the rising because the sun and moon are even more significant
but overall.

Linda's rising sign is Leo like me! She actually replied to my email when I was in college and I couldn't believe she emailed me!!! She's an Aries with a Leo ascendant conjunct ME (but I have a Libra moon). ------------------

I vote for Pisces. Leo ASC usually have these cat-eyes, this lady has outer corners down. My dad is Pisces Sun, and his eyes are just like hers.Maybe Sag. She looks like a happy person IP: Logged |

The insight I gain through my posts here are invaluable - I honestly love learning for knowledge's sake, and the more I'm able to see through YOUR eyes, the better able I am to grasp newer concepts myself, and in turn, spread that knowledge unto others!I've responded to each of you below. If you don't mind responding to my comments, I'd greatly appreciate it! I know what I look for when attempting to discern someone's placements, but it's always interesting to learn of new "tell-tale" significators. Again, thank you all for guessing! Here is her chart for full analysis. Can you see it now? :-)  Kerosene - You certainly were correct in your intuition that there's a potent Yang energy at play! She's heavy in Sagittarius/Leo. summerlite - None of her personal planets are in any of those signs. Could her Moon conjunct Ascendant may explain the Cancer Moon feel you got from her? Let me know what you think! theunknown - Thanks for guessing! Again, nothing in Aquarius or Gemini, but could the water Moon you intuited be her Moon conjunct Ascendant at play? RunAroundScreaming - It's funny how many Gemini guesses she got. She's got absolutely nothing in Gemini. Could it be the Gemini/Sagittarius axis you picked up on? And hah! Another Cancer Moon guess. It MUST be her Moon conjunct Ascendant sending you Cancer vibes! And you are right to guess her Ascendant is in Fire What gave it away? Would love to hear back! Adimi - None of those at play, but Venus is in Capricorn? Thanks for guessing! Leocassandra - Another Capricorn guess! Perhaps her Venus in Capricorn shines through? Venus is BiQuintile the Ascendant, which I've always attributed to giving her a "Venusian" feel. She's very Libra-like in person, and nothing else in her chart seems to point to it. I've personally found Quintiles and BiQuintiles to the Ascendant to be extremely potent. Do you have any? Xerxes - refer to above thanks for playing! pearlsdream - Yes, her Sun is in Sagittarius! (As well as her Mercury and Mars). Plus, her Leo AC falls in the Sagittarius decan. I'm curious to know what gave her inner Archer away?! Boilermaker - Not sure if you were guessing her sign, or if you thought this was a thread asking what Linda Goodman's sign is… If you were guessing my mother's, then you were right on point with Leo AC! But it may have just been a coincidence. Let me know! I'd be curious to know what you picked up on. Ann7 - Wow! I'm impressed! Congrats! Great guessing. What gave away the Leo AC? You seem to be the most confident in guessing her Leo AC….. I'd be so curious to hear what you picked up on, features, manner, etc. Your Pisces guess isn't too far off… she's got Neptune square her Ascendant, so you definitely know your stuff! What about her was Piscean/Neptunian? Liliya - WOW. Thanks for playing! Again, it is probably her Neptune square AC that gives a Pisces flavor - and so awesome of you to pick up on it! What conveyed that? It sounds like you were on the fence about Leo… what about her may have led you to think Leo before the eyes swayed you to Pisces? And YES, she's a Sag! i think it's her moon in 12th. Moon in 1st tends to have more lively presence cause it's the Aries house. She has Sag sun, leo rising so the sun is emphasis. She doesn't have round face like Moon in 1st conjunct ASC but she does seem like someone who can intuit others' feelings in an environment. I can feel it.IP: Logged |

Your mother is very pretty. Couldn't tell she's all fire. I'm very bad at guessing.I thought she has cancer moon because of her moon-like eyes in the last picture. Or maybe those should be called Leo eyes.Yes moon conjunct asc could possibly affect it too. Planets opposite ascendant would affect looks too. She has saturn in aquarius opp ASC. I suppose that's where her air came from since she doesn't have air placements. IP: Logged |

Hi alaz7200 -Woo hoo, I was right! I've been studying astrology/ people since I was a little kid (natural affinity). After many years (I'm 45), I can pick up on people with out knowing anything about their chart. Your mom is a beautiful woman with lovely hair and a bright smile - she takes extremely good care of herself and takes pride in her appearance. These are key leo rising traits.
