So the zodiacal ages are caused by the north and south points of the earth pointing towards a zodiac sign. Then that means they are pointing at Aquarius and Leo. I know they say that it's the age of Aquarius but there is a bit of Leo energy in there too. I am asking why is Aquarius energy dominant and not Leo energy if the planet is lined up with both of them?IP: Logged |

As an aqua, I don't care about aquarius age lol. But to answer your question, aqua and leo are very similar. both focus on the individual, leo being the individual attention and aqua being the unique individualism of each person. However, I guess it's the age of aquarius because of the booming of technology, communication, mass media. The world has gotten more global and more connected. Whereas I would imagine the age of leo being more pleasurable, prideful, etcIP: Logged |

Also interesting that we are moving backwards, from Pisces to Aquarius... IP: Logged |

Astronomically speaking, the Age of Aquarius will start in about 750 years. IP: Logged |

This is an excellent question, btw. It's Vernal Equinox that is taken into the account, not and the ascend of the Sun in the Northern hemisphere. It could be argued that the Southern hemisphere is, in a way, descriminated, as we could just as well the autumnal equinox as the reference point. Still, if we take astronomy into account, and as I pointed out in my previous post, we're 700-750 years away from the Age of Aquarius, and I kind of trust astronomy on that one.
