Anyone notice that solar Geminis are sort of angst driven, for the most part?
I have one Gemini friend and he is like this most of the time. For instance, he is very nice and kind hearted, does favors for people who are down on their luck. However, he seems generally anxious and sorta unhappy a great deal of the time, despite things he does that should give him a sense of joy. He doesn't relax after he has done a good deed for someone. He is peevish and grouchy in general.
He isn't the only solar Gemini in my life who has exhibited the same temperament. The ones I notice this about have all been males. Gemini women seem to be a bit calmer. The men have a certain anxiety and melancholy temperament despite the fact they have a tender heart and should get a sense of calm. I grew up with one Gemini boy who was this exact way, so similar it's uncanny! He had this exact same temperament.
I think the reason is, their sign is opposite Sagittarius and this is that sign's territory. Sagittarius is carefree and happy, Gemini worries and has a difficult time unwinding so it's more of a natural state for some of them to be angst driven.
What I've been doing is helping my Gemini friend to unwind by filling in the Sagittarian void. I feed his soul Sagittarian-type ideals in hope he will get a sense of tranquility and relief. It's like a heavy dose of optimism that never stops, lol. My New Year's Resolution was to help my friend by being super supportive and nice at all times, putting a positive spin on everything, being an eternal optimist and always blessing him. My prediction, by the end of the year, he will discover his repressed Sagittarius spirit with his own inner well of happiness and optimism. He will get in the habit of being like this, some, himself.

I am a Gemini Sun, Merc and venus in the 9th. I am very high strung. I am trying to calm my nervous system down.
Working in the garden really helps. I am an earth void, too, which makes for a hard time feeling grounded.

He likes yard work and has a little pond with gold fish. He communes with nature by bonding with backyard wildlife. He does find solace in nature, like you.
He goes on routine camping trips to the mountains.

I've noticed what you're describing with Gemini guys in particular, SSS. Not as much with Gemini women, as you mentioned.

All my personal planets are in Gemini too rational to be angsty about thing I was a pretty easy teen not very dramatic and hormonal

He told me his birthdate a couple of times but it was like, five years ago and I have forgotten what it was, exactly. He mentioned his birthdate after it happened last year. I should have just put it in a calendar somewhere. I do know for sure he's a solar Gemini with d o b sometime in early June, around the ninth or before. I don't feel like asking him because he would want to know why I am asking right now and he already told me he thinks this is "voodoo" so don't feel like getting into an argument about it.

The other solar Gemini I know a lot more about because I grew up practically in his house and he's more like family. He has Mercury in Gemini and Venus in Cancer. Sagittarius moon. Very similar to this guy except his birthday's in May.

Then another Gemini friend has a birthday in June, don't know date or time, and he is actually more depressive than these two. I lost touch with him.

All three have similar anxiety patterns.

I have a Mars in Gemini guy friend. Yes, he's angsty, but I think there are other factors that contribute. He has many planets in Scorpio. I think the Gemini shows up more in how he handles his anger, by doing martial arts, you know, punching stuff, with his hands.

I'm also Mars in Gemini (girl). Again, also angsty for many reasons, but I find my male friend above sort of whiny, lol. I channel my energy by playing bass aggressively or making craft/art works (the hands again!)

I think it's Gemini because each one of them is a solar Gemini and they have the same ways of thinking I swear! It's uncanny! Really. I have known solar Cancers and people with Cancer planets who are not like this.

Their thought patterns and the anxiety. It's the same for each of them. If I meet any more in the future, betcha ten dollars they will be the same as this too. It really is weird. They keep appearing in my life, along with first names that begin with the letter R.

There's nothing Gemini about what you described. You couldn't even list placements of your other Gemini friends. The only one you can list out has Sun-Moon in opposition and Cancer placement. That's where this angst feeling came from....not because they are solar Geminis.

I do know they all have the sun there and they all act the same way. Other people have sun/moon oppositions, they don't have this kind of angst. Not like this. You just don't understand. You don't have them in your life. You don't know how they act. You cannot witness it first hand and will argue with anything I post and I have seen it up close and personal.
So really you are in no position to judge what I have seen, only what you have.

Why is it just these three and they all happen to be solar Geminis and they act the same and exhibit their anxiety in a similar way. Sure a solar Cancer can have difficulties but they don't express it like this. It's not the same at all. Solar Cancers will come home and explode at their family after having a stressful day. Gemini doesn't go overboard in quite the same way as Cancer. They aren't really emotional like that. It's more anxiety attacks and their temperaments are really peevish. It's difficult to know unless you have been around this sort of temperament.

My ex gemini and my mother also a gemini are both like this. I am a gemini too but im not like that. Im definitely more emotional, calm, and too lazy to care lol.

Are you a solar Gemini? Btw, Venusian also has a Cancer ascendant, notice? So it't not just the sun being close to Cancer.
The ones I become longterm friends with are men and they are all like this. Not happy go lucky in the slightest. Maybe I am this way, sorta, too, and that's why they attracted to me in the first place?

See, I don't really bond well with most people. These Geminis I can bond with long term.

I'm a Gemini sun and venus, Altough ive got allot of placements(mars, merc, asc and moon) in the calm and collected Taurus i do display many of your mentioned traits, i find that most geminis fit the saturnian description quite well, never tought about the explanation of sagg opposing gem tough, interesting idea.

But yeah i agree we can be quite high strung, altough we(atleast i do) try not to show it but it shines trough :P I for one somtimes even border on OCD but i guess that could also be explained by pluto opposing my mars, merc and asc.

I'm a cancer sun but have a gem moon and ascendant and I suffer from anxiety. I have my moon and jupiter in my 12th house so maybe this is contributing to it.

Take up yoga or some sort of meditation, I find it definitely helps relax you.
