How do you even go about these? lol

I have moon opposite uranus (in the 1st and 7th house :yay and it's starting to become a really annoying pattern of either attracting people who are SUPER into me and I'm not interested/I quickly lose interest or attracting people who are distant and hard to pin down and yet those are the people I'm most drawn to. What is wrong with me? D:

Does anyone know how to balance oppositions? I feel like if I don't "own" this aspect of needing emotional distance, I attract people who are really emotionally distant and then I feel needy (gag.) but when I "own" this aspect I attract needy people (ew). Either way, there's always some part of me left unsatisfied.

What are your personal experiences with oppositions? Have you found a way to balance the energies?

You are going through a phase in your life where you are finding people you like but they are busy with other things and you feel like you do not have opportunity to get closer while the types you have no chance with for whatever reason make themselves available on a near constant basis yet you cannot bridge the gap for whatever reason.

Sounds familiar but I don't have any oppositions from the first to seventh house. My only major opposition is from second to eighth.

How do you balance them? Good question. Sometimes it's just the circumstances in your life and you cannot change them. I think the opposition can indicate an area where you just have to accept something with as much grace as possible. This will encourage good karma.

I have Moon opposite Sun, Venus, Mercury, Ceres and Saturn and I don't even know what this means.
I do feel the Sun/Moon opp sometimes I guess but I just am one extreme one day and the other the following.
Gotta keep the luminaries chirpy

Oppositions are difficult because we face them as "external" issues... I have venus opp jupiter, mars opp pluto, moon widely opp mars, a few oppositions to the Asc... but no squares in my chart (except a wide square to my MC) so I don't have much to compare them to but I agree they can be quite difficult to overcome or even understand since there's a lot of projection involved.

I think as you said Chiemi the key is in "owning" both parts of the opposition (although that can seem impossible!)

So, I guess I don't really have any concrete advice at the moment, but just wanted to say I understand your frustration lol

I have Sun opposite Moon and Pluto opposite Venus.

No. I have not found a way to balance those energies, although they seem to have mellowed at least a little as I've gotten older.

If someone has the magic formula for this, I want it.

Also just wanted to add I think synastry can go a long way in easing the problem or making it worse... I'm probably speaking way too soon and idk if it will turn into anything significant but I've been hanging out with someone who has moon opposite uranus and jupiter natally (in 2nd and 8th house). My moon conjuncts his uranus and so far it seems to actually work pretty nicely. I really like all of his "Uranian" qualities, and have no problem giving him space. It doesn't make me feel insecure as it has with others in the past, and from what I can tell he is genuinely interested... Also his uranus trines my jupiter and is sextile my venus

So maybe find someone whose moon conjuncts or positively aspects your uranus-moon... or who you have a lot of Uranus synastry with? Idk just a thought lol

Are you sure it is the only aspect in your chart that supports this?

What is your Mars doing? Venus and Sun also.

Any of them are in aspect with neptune? or pluto?

And have you gone through your Saturn return yet?

I have moon/uranus, plenty of uranus squares in my natal. I think there is a pull, one that is invisible, that is in our subconscious, not yet acknowledged at least by our subconscious or not fully understood ( i'm specifically talking about uranus aspects with venus/moon) that fears to be tied down to the wrong person or just a fear to be tied down and another pull that is in your conscious mind to find The Person of our lives and have a beautiful love story. So there is a sort of attraction to people our subconscious mind has already labelled as unavailable or emotionally distant whereas people who are there for the taking are too easy, they bore us, we don't want them, they have nothing exciting to offer.

I think the desirable solution is to find someone who echoes the same pattern in their natal. They are more likely to understand you than anyone else

I can relate. Moon 10th house opposite Uranus at 4th. At the IC/MC axis.

I realised that before my Saturn return I would attract people that were unavailable or not suitable, probably because of my fear of commitment. It was easier for me to commit to someone I knew they weren't right for me or I wasn't really in love with. Because I knew it would end so it was safe to do so.
