Hi! I would like to ask a question about Synastry Asteroid Orbs: i have a Syn wit lots of Astreois conjunctions, but most of them have a wide orb ( 3-4 deg) Should I ignore them or is there still an influence?IP: Logged |

I use a 3 degree orb for my conjunctions but that's the widest I use. However, if you see a lot of conjunctions and are picking up on a theme, I know people would also consider a 4 degree orb but usually three is the max even for conjunctions.IP: Logged |

I think you're treading on thin ice to consider anything much more than 0 or 1 *most* of the time, even with conjunctions. Occasionally, I'll go as wide as 2 or 3, but only if I'm seeing patterns that otherwise wouldn't be there.I also think it depends upon the asteroid; I'll give wider berth to asteroids 1 through 4 (Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta) because they are female energy, are fairly large, and were discovered 200 years ago or so. But what do I know? I'm mostly a neophyte. IP: Logged |
