How can I assert myself, like -really- without getting self defensive and passive agressive?

I am weak... I feel like I'm exploding inside but no one knows.

I have suffered with anxiety since a teenager.

Oh, puh-LEEZE don't assign passive-aggressive behavior to all Cancerian Mars ppl, cuz we aren't all like that.

Then again, my Mars squares Pluto Jupiter AND Saturn and is conjunct Vulkanus, that might mitigate things somewhat.....

I've always known Mars/Cancer to be somewhat passive/aggressive because they go to the right, then to the left (just like the crab)and confuse you with their intentions instead of say Mars/Aries who gets straight to the point, no confusion here.
Even so Cancer is a Cardnal sign therefor this can be a leadership position. The issue here may be with the Rx placement, remember Mars is how you assert yourself, it is how you fight back and a Rx Mars panics inside at the thought of aggression. This can be modified especially if it's in Mutual Reception.
Opposite Neptune (3) will make you come up with some crazy (I say this with love ) ideas when it comes to avoiding such situations. It is artistic so energy should be directed here.
