Is the attraction different in a square versus a trine? I mean to ask how do you FEEL it to be different between these? Thanks!------------------

Trine - (with me being the venus) It makes me want to collapse inside of them and just stay there safe forever - water trine.My natal venus and mars are square planet wise so if someone's mars is square my venus then they tend to work with my natal mars - it's a familiarity and appreciation of the way they go about life. Sorry but I was talking about synastry...that's how I feel with trines - like I want to collapse inside of them, and as i said i'm not sure how to describe the square because the square in synastry generally means good mar/mars synastry for me.

Well in my opinion... Trine - I just want to rip the persons clothes off! Square - There's instant attraction,but after awhile.. I'll stop liking them. But other factors play a role too... Like, Sun/Mars, Sun/Moon etc. So the Square is kind of tricky! A lot of people who date each other with the Mars/Venus square are dating for the wrong reasons. But as for the trine, It's hot.. so BANG ON! ------------------

Trines and sextiles feels more in harmony. I always felt a strong, warm and safe love without jealousy when my venus conj mars triggs positive in synastry. .My boyfriend today have his mars in square to my venus conj mars and thisone feels more strong, more passion and more dramatic. I also think the jealousy will always be there.. The sex in square feels more raw and aggressive. Sextiles and trines feels more like deeply love...IP: Logged |

For me - the oppositions are most attractive (Venus/Venus, Venus/Mars and Mars/Mars), and they stay attractive long term. There's an interesting chemistry between the two people. It feels upbeat, like you could never get sick of each other. There's a lot of mutual respect and admiration as well. With the oppositions - each person tends to put the other on a pedestal just because they are so different. It feels like 'Wow. i've never known anyone quite like you before!". There is also a strong desire to never let the other person go because the attraction never dies. It's very magnetic.The conjunctions get boring.. seriously boring.. after a couple of years or so, specially if living under the same roof. Other than being boring, just about everything you initially liked about the person begins to relalllly irritate the crap out of you (because they have so many of the flaws that you yourself have.. so it doesn't feel like you complete each other.. it feels like you are much too similar).
Sexually conjunctions don't fizzle out though.. It always feels good to be with these people on a purely physical level. Trines are "ok".. but not very immediately attractive in my experience. It just feels very easy to be around the other person. Their general energy and body language feels familiar. They make you feel comfortable. It's easy to slip into being together and staying together. There's also a very obvious mutual feeling of 'like' - if the trines are exact.
There are no questions about the feelings being reciprocal, because it's very obvious from the start that you both like each other, and neither person attempts to hide it.
As time goes on a trine can really heat up.. because both people are so comfortable trying anything together.. It can be hotter than a conjunction after a couple of years together. Squares are the worst.. There is an obvious attraction but everything goes completely haywire. The worst square is Mars square Mars. Both people react very badly - they get their egos in a knot - and nothing can untangle the mess.
The square can feel unrequited (specially the Venus/Mars square) - although ironically this is often not the case. It usually feels unrequited because there are so many misinterpretations going both ways. The way one person shows their love or attraction - is something that the other person does not interpret as being very loving at all.
The communication is just about dead as well unless they had good aspects elsewhere - like a Mercury trine Mercury, which could help them talk this one out. The sextile is the best Venus/Mars aspect for a long term relationship or marriage as far as I've seen. I know several couples where either his Mars or her Mars is sextile the other person's Venus. I'm guessing the reason is that a sextile is more 'fun' than a trine.. The people sense that there are similarities but they are still very curious about each other and they always have new things to find out about each other. There is a feeling of completing each other, each bringing something 'different' to the table. IP: Logged |

the conjunction is the same as the opposition
the trine is excellent
the square is weird..there was once a guy that hes mars was square both my venus and mars but his venus conjuncted them.as well..IP: Logged |

My mars conjunct venus so I don't like the square at all. Anything square my cap mars and venus (libra and aries) will fall in my 12th and 6th. I dislike these ppl, period.The trine is great. I feel understood and in sync. I haven't had the opp IP: Logged |
