My mercury and Saturn trine my ascendant, however, mercury trines my Venus, and Saturn conjuncts my Venus, does this mean my Venus is also on my ascendant seeing as it makes aspects to the planets on my ascendant?

Depends on the orb.
Trines to the ASC... I'd say, something like 7°. But if your Saturn conjuncts your Venus and makes a pretty tight trine to your ASC, then you can sorta consider that Venus trines your ASC as well, since Saturn & Venus go hand in hand, they're like "one".
