I'm just interested in knowing what it means to have a Venus in the 8th House...

I have an 8th house Venus but honestly I wouldn't know which of my characteristics are attributable to that as opposed to aspects, etc.

I do, however, become very obsessive when someone catches my attention romantically. I learn everything I can about the person, and in this day and age of Internet, I am the uber stalker. I can't help myself. I know it's creepy. I just look at the person's photos over and over, try to see what they're posting on social media, etc. Imagine our future life together.

When I was younger I was also very weird about love interests. I've been known to leave anonymous admirer notes in school lockers or leave Hershey's kisses on someone's desk (at work). I'm not sure what I was trying to accomplish, I was just compelled to do these things.

Eventually, I get bolder and actually let the person know a bit more normally that I'm interested. Never directly though.

If I think of anything else later, I'll post more. Gee it's nice to have a snow day instead of working.

OMG!! You sound just like me, when I'm interested in someone, I'll stalk them on online if necessary. Like say for example, I text you and you don't reply back.. I'll go check your social media sites to see if you're posting anything, then I'll know you were ignoring me.

And I tend to analyze every little thing the person does.. and I watch the persons every move.

I am also a cyber stalker. Back in the day when there were not ways of doing this (stalking in general) from your own home, I did the thing where you go to a place that you might run into them. Like you start using the gas station by their house, or using the laundromat that they would possibly go to based upon their area. I'm glad things are easier now.

I have to be careful, and this is why I take cyber breaks often, because I will find myself (and if you do this too, please admit it so I don't feel like a freak, lol) actually sitting on FB or whatever just waiting for them to update something. ARGH. It's so stupid and immature. Then if they do, it's like you won something.

Also, traditionally Venus in 8th is supposed to make one uber charming and irresistible. They used to say 8th h Venus people lived off of other people's money or some kind of legacy. That isn't necessarily true for me, as in, I don't have a Sugar Daddy or anything, BUT I have been lucky because someone always wants me to live with them. If ever I find myself needing to leave my present situation, I seem to have several people wanting to 'take care of me' so to speak. For example, and old BF from years and years ago has always told me I have a room in his home, in Texas. He reminds me of this every six months or so, whether he is seeing someone or not. Another girlfriend of mine, has a younger brother that has done the same. Offered me a room for years and years.

So, that's what I have experienced with it.

What is viewed as obsessive and stalk-''ish'' by others I tend to find it very normal behaviour! I'm creepy in a very normal way
I've always thought it was because my placidus 7th house Venus sextile singleton pluto BUT in whole house system I have a 8th house stellium and there is so much about me that is obsessive that I no longer can deny the 8th house affiliation anymore. I also tend to manipulate people a lot without really being aware of it.Although I do stop if I catch myself manipulating people.I attract a lot of manipulative people in my life also. It's as if the world I live in is not what would be considered ''normal'' by other people,so I guess they are the ones who are not ''normal''

^ I duno, I have an ex from way back who says I am welcome to stay at his whenever. I do feel like he wants to 'take care' of me but doesn't everyone has one of these? I don't think its attributable to an 8th house venus. Or am I wrong?

And it's funny, my crushes for the past six years have all been Scorpios, so maybe I am growing into my 8th house Venus finally. I used to like the occasional Scorpio but mainly gravitated to earth types. Now it's all Scorpio, all the time!

I find this to be true. Not just by men in general, but anyone that touches my Venus, lol.

I'd probably bite someone's head off if they suggested such a thing (I've got dependancy issues), but I've got books from people I knew for little more than a few months as bday gifts, without me so much as asking for or showing any interest in acquiring the title of the books. Also, it's very common for people to do things that I ask of them. I'm not used to ask people for help (Earth Sun-Ascendant), but I find that, when I do, 98% of the time they come through.

I've been on the Scorpy boys for years and the Caps. They sort of blend together in my book, but I did read something from Alyssa Sharpe (check her youtube, she's a scream) she said that whoever is on the cusp of your 7th is who you cannot help but love/chase/obsess over, and whoever is on the cusp of your 8th is who has those feelings about you.

Kinda creepy when you think about someone doing the stalking TO you, or the obsessing ABOUT you, huh? Or do you guys like it??

When my ex Scorp and I had our last huge falling out, I remember he was texting me all day, like every hour and it was getting tiresome. My daughter had been in the hospital all night and I was just getting back and wanted to go to sleep. I knew if I told him I was home, he'd want to be there and I'd never get rest, so when he said: "are you still at the hospital?" I lied and said yes.

A few minutes later I took my trash to the dumpster and found him hiding behind it. He didn't see me, so I slowly walked away. I tell ya, it creeped me the heck out.

The common thread is always engaging with bad boy types who are not necessarily the stereotypical bad boys...there actually the deep intellectual or sensitive artistic yet still kind of tough types kind of like the heath ledgers or the jude laws...there not like harly riding dudes but you know that it's not going to end well if you date them..
