What aspect would cause this ? Or is it common for them to be. I always thought of them to be talkative but some I know are only talkative when comfortable

They can be! It depends a lot on what Mercury is doing in the chart.

I am pretty sure my AC is Gem. There's a chance that it's early Cancer but basically every second person I talk to thinks it's Gemini (on and offline).. Cancer is unlikely.

My Mercury is in Pisces square Uranus.. so I can be erratic.
I can be talkative one minute with one group of people and completely quiet under different circumstances.
I would imagine a Gemini AC person with an Aquarius or Libra Mercury would be more consistently sociable and talkative.

So it depends on mercury? So if in a introverted mercury cause them to be less talkative. But what about sun ?

Yes,I think so.
I'm not Gem rising,but I have my sun,moon,venus,and mercury in Gemini.
If their mercury is retro or aspected by Saturn,or if they have Saturn in the 11th house they can be.I'm not talkative at all,I'm really quiet.

A gemini rising can come off as chatty but might not be based on placements, aspects or 12H planets etc.

Why don't u just post everything instead of just dissecting his chart to read like this?

I'm a Gemini riser. Am not overly talkative, would rather listen. I have Mercury in Scorpio so constanstly analyzing everything. My Mercury is unaspected. My mind is totally overactive, it never ever switches off!
