When looking to see which decan your planet(s) are in do you use the same system to find them all? Ex: You look up the decan of your Aries Sun on a website. Do you look at the exact same thing if you're trying to find the decan for your Aries Venus? I'm new to this lol. BTW - feel free to share your favorite sign-decan aspect. IP: Logged |

I remember some user on here kept on reminding me that decans are not really about the sign but the planet... I keep on forgetting who but maybe they will see this.For instance if you aries sun is in aries decan it's really the mars decan.
I sort of agree with this more because the sign is not always a direct representation of a planet.
Mars also rules scorpio which is the most "intense" sign in the zodiac.
Generally it's easy to say Mars in an intense and explosive planet.
So the decans it rules makes for individuals with a burning passion? My sun-moon is in the Venus decan so I think it emphases a strong sense of aesthetics. I'm more fascinated by art fashion and music which have always been important to me. I mean that's what I studied in school I'm not really interested in anything else lol. Asc: Mercury

Yes, it's the Ruling Planet.Mars Rules all of Aries. First Ten of Aries:
Mars-Mars Second Ten of Aries:
Mars-Sun Third Ten of Aries:
Mars-Jupiter This is because you take all Fire Signs into account in that order, i.e. Aries-Mars Next in line: Leo-Sun Third Fire Sign: Sagittarius-Jupiter It is the same for all of the Zodiac, in the same fashion. IP: Logged |

Saturn, Venus, Mercury Aquarius-Air

Neptune, Moon, Pluto I use the newer Domicile Attributions, as they make perfect sense to me. Consider both, though. As I said, the first one listed Rules the whole Sign, so always take it into account. You just mix the two. Always consider Dignities when using Decanates, sometimes hidden things will come to light. It's the Signs that are in an Element.Planets Rule the Signs. There are three Water Signs, three Rulerships. I know, I get them crossed, too. If you think of a pizza and it is cut into twelve pieces; there are Four Elements, with three of each kind. Triangles, all. Planets are: Sun

Sorry, yes.
As Pisces is Ruled by Neptune, you think Neptune first. As it resides in the third Decanate, it is the Scorpio portion, so you take the two Rulerships and merge them. So, your Mercury is: Neptune-Pluto Decanate. Some would say: Neptune-Mars/Pluto.
It's always in Pisces, but you can look deeper into the significance with this.

Pluto-mars decanate probably adds some focus rather than being completely spacey with your logic.
A pisces merc (pluto decan) with Mercury trine Pluto is really on point when it comes to logic. Nothing said was too fanciful and just spoke of things for what they really are even if it sounds grim. Still I guess does give a strong imagination and sort of whimsical charm when it comes to the speech pattern. IP: Logged |

Moon - Libra duad
Mercury - Aqua duad
Venus - Scorpio duad
Mars - Aries duad
Jupiter - Cancer duad

Neptune - Pisces duad
Pluto - Cap duad
