Does one feel it more than the other or is it mutual? What have been your general experiences with moon conjunct venus synastry?

I personally love this aspect, I think it's such a sweet and loving aspect

Generally, both people feel the aspect, but quite differently.
Basically the Venus person likes/loves the Moon person's emotional expression - when the Moon person "emotes", the Venus person is likely to find it lovely/attractive/cute & what not. Venus can have a reassuring/soothing effect on the Moon person (if the conjunction is not otherwise afflicted.)
If there are some heavier aspects either natally or in synastry, when it comes to that conjunction, it can be a bit too much - the Moon person can overwhelm the Venus person with their emotionality and the Venus person can appear too superficial and not nurturing enough. The Moon person can seem a bit self-absorbed and too moody for the Venus person's liking at times. Or vice versa.
