Is it unprescedented that all the cardinal signs are going through such difficulties for so long? Why are we singled out? Is this normal?

Uranus and Pluto are on the far outside circle revolving around the Sun, so they don't move very quickly around the Zodiac.

Unfortunately they are in a difficult position right now. They are the long-range focus of this configuration.

Jupiter has been dancing back and forth into the mix. It moves faster, but still.

Mars has moved on now.

Pluto has had many visitors this year, including that Retrograde Venus and the Sun, to name but a few.

It was kind of like my family when they get together for the Holidays and someone buys too much firewater...

Is it normal for one quality (cardinal) to go through such difficulty for so many years? The Cardinal signs get stomped on but the other qualities (fixed, mutable)have smooth sailing.

No, no; there is a time to every purpose.

Whether we live long enough to see them go that far or not, ha.

The Celestial Clockwork.

Cardinal Signs are good leaders, and no one becomes a good leader, or powerful, without first experiencing struggles.

I feel like it's a cardinal sign's 'rite of passage' to go through hardship and become stronger.
