I have a very similar demeanor, livictori. I'm all sweet Pisces, fair Libra, but in a relationship my Leo moon is front and center. I can be so self-centered and inconsiderate and I hate it. Sometimes I forget that there's another individual with feelings, too. :-(

I'm trying to be better at it, and it literally takes conscious effort. I've really had to get over the "putting my lover on a pedestal" thing, because they can never live up to how amazing they are in my mind. Lofty Libra + Prideful Leo. We see the partner as an extension, and reflection, of ourselves. I get disappointed easily from this. I've had to learn to try an love people for who they are, and not who they are in my head an who I think they should be.

The aggression and making yourself "heard" could be the Venus in Aries. Venus in Aries is very clear about what they want.

You being 37 plays a huge role as well. At this stage of your life, you know what you want and are probably going through a Saturn transit.

Saturn is currently transiting the 2nd house of values and squaring your Moon in the 10th house of ambitions as well as your Mars in 4th house.
