Is this Saturn in 4th? I dislike my home town, it feels really unwelcoming to me, the place is depressing, harsh, and Saturnian feeling in general. I want to move abroad as soon as possible, because I cannot relate to this "culture" it's like I have a culture shock within my own culture lol. The people I generally can't relate to, I feel they are shallow or they just don't "get" me, because im imaginative and creative and dont really care for material things as much. Many of my friends I met online who live abroad and I generally get along with them better than the locals in my town, they have more interesting things to say than general shallow talk. The environment here is very cold feeling. My Venus is also in the 4th conjunct Saturn. It feels like I'm stuck in my town though, damn Saturn, I want to move. IP: Logged |

I'm not an astrologer but it could be Saturn in your 4th. I think you also have to look at the aspects to that house. I have Jupiter in the 4th and I feel that I should have been born in another country. If I had it my way I would live in the English countryside. I haven't found anywhere in the US that feels perfect for me. IP: Logged |

It could be the synastry with where you are...the natal chart for the place not really meshing well with yours. The United States is supposedly a Cancerian country. My Mars is in that sign and squares Jupiter, Pluto AND Saturn. To say I don't like American culture, the American mindset and way of life is an understatement. Check to see what the birth chart is for your location and compare it to your natal chart. (on a side note I have GREAT synastry with the CIA.....) IP: Logged |

It could be Venus conjuct Saturn. Check Uranus too. I have it on the ascendant and often do not feel a part of what's going on around me and long for life sometime in the future, with more technological advances. I feel like this is a backward time despite all the advances, or, it will look that way to people living a few hundred years from now. IP: Logged |

Ahhh! Now I get it! I've wanted to move away from the US (and my mother) since I was very little. BOTH are Cancer (as were my most difficult BF & boss)! Honestly, I love them, but I can't deal with them. LOL. I'm currently thinking of moving (again!? :-o ) How do you check a synastry for a place?

Places have birth charts, just like people do. Find out when the place was officially "created", pull up the chart.....Astrodienst forums could probably help you more with this, because I'm not sure if you go by when when it was put down in writing that a place had become a country or a city or whatever, or some other earlier criteria. I did find the chart for the United States through those boards a long time ago, which is how I found out it was Cancerian, and landed right on my Mars. That's all I got, a little Googling around and asking should get you where you want to go. IP: Logged |

Oh I definitely FEEL the US is Cancer! So i"m sure you are right about that. LOL. Now I'm crossing Austin off the list. Dublin? Going to check Dublin. I know it will be true love. Thanks! Great & very fun insight! ETA: Aw crap! Dublin is Cancer... Sigh. http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Dublin_(Ireland) IP: Logged |
