I have Sun trine Moon and Moon trine Venus (both ways) with someone by sign, but I feel more neutral than connected. Why is this? His Sun is Capricorn, Moon is Sagittarius, Venus is Capricorn My Sun is Aries, Moon in Taurus, Venus in Aries. IP: Logged |

It could be because they're trines. IP: Logged |

Yes I agree with this. Trines aren't really that noticable to some because its a very "comfy" and flowy energy. There's just a subtle harmony present between the energies of the planets involved, so it can feel more like a "background" energy rather than "in your face" lol. Its not a high, dynamic movement like the conjunction, opposition, square, and quindecile which really gets your attention! But again, it depends on each individuals natals, which would determine their linking and affinity for soft vs. hard aspects in general. My natal is pretty mixed so I want it all lol. Hope this helps!

What are the orbs?I personally get along good with same planet out of orb sign trines. But I think otherwise it would have to be in orb IP: Logged |

They're not falling in the right houses or aspecting the right rulers? I trine Libra but they fall in my 11th house. If something were to happen there, it would take time. IP: Logged |

I would say it's the orbs.Other aspects in your synastry and/or composite might take precedence over these trines. IP: Logged |

Where is your Saturn? Where is his? IP: Logged |

His Saturn is in Aqua, which would fall in my 9th, and my Saturn is in my 7th in Cap. Dunno where it would fall in his chart because of birth times.IP: Logged |

Coz compatibility in synastry only means compatible energy flow, for better or worse, and not necessarily that you'll be what each other is looking for or that you both share similar things in life. Also, how a person manifests their own natal chart aspects also depends. I have a stellium in Aries, and I get along with fire people who are fun and assertive, but put me next to some immature, rude and selfish fires and I would not like them at all lol. Also, I might get along with fire people, but I have Pisces DC and an earth grand trine plus 2 water planets, that I need some water/earth in people to get me romantically interested. Put me next to crazy fires and overly mental/intellectual airs, and I would feel next to nothing in terms of romance lol. Put me next to a Scorpio or Pisces influenced person (I have my Aries stellium in the 8th house), and I might melt faster. IP: Logged |

Does your Saturn square your Sun, trine your Moon and square your Venus? Saturn square Venus contains showing of affection. Also, if your Saturn conjuncts his Sun and/or Venus(especially the latter), a "spark" is unlikely. Saturn is restrictive here again. If his Saturn squares your Moon, he could come across as chilly and have your moon in Taurus recoiling and distancing itself from him. Saturn always restricts and adds sobriety and somberness to all that it touches IP: Logged |

Personally, I don't find a lot of trines in synastry to be very romantic. I need hard aspects for that, or at least a mix. Maybe you're the same way? Or maybe you need conjunctions? Even if your synastry looks good on paper it may not be what one or both of you is looking for. It's also possible that you're not each other's type. The signs on cusps of the 5th, 7th, and 8th houses plus the signs your Venus and Mars are in usually indicate what you're looking for in a partner. Also, compare your natal charts. If you don't have any of the same aspects or at least similar aspects then you probably won't feel like you have anything in common. And like other people have noted, orbs are extremely important. If you don't have any aspects in tight orb your synastry isn't going to be felt very powerfully. I'd also like to empathize that house placements and aspects between house rulers are crucial. It's too bad you don't have his birth time because that could be very helpful. IP: Logged |

Saturn does square my Sun, and Venus and does most likely conjunct all his Cap placements. The thing is he is NOT chilly. At all. He's very affectionate, sensitive, open, and trusting. Recoiling is a good word though, but at the same time I'm possessive of him? I'm so weird. It's not a big deal though… IP: Logged |
