I have Ceres in the fourth house and like Vesta, it is involved in close aspect with my Taurus Moon. Both have a close relationship aspect-wise with the moon which rules the MC in my chart. I find it fascinating if Ceres does co rule Cancer and has an affinity of some kind with the moon, it is already in my fourth house and Cancer is on the MC. It is also in close, easy aspect with the exalted moon. I approve of this pattern! And if this wasn't fascinating enough (which I am sure it is) I live in a part of the world well known for it's wheat production.

I have Sun and Venus conjunct Ceres. It makes me very aware of where I fit (and don't fit) into any situation. I find myself taking a student or teacher roll often (Ceres in Sag), usually with the desire to fix or refine something in myself or my environment. Relationships also tend to be more about learning than actual love or commitment. To super-generalize. I tend to nourish others by being a teacher. When I teach I feel like I am expressing an important part of myself. Contrarily, I am nourished by learning, and tend to approach life as a classroom. When people stop being useful sources of learning, I begin to feel lack of nourishment in the relationship. Of course I know there is more to life than acquiring and sharing experience, but that is how I feel nourished and how I feel I can use my natural skills. IP: Logged |

My 2H Libran Sun sextiles 4H Sagittarian Ceres exact. I am frequently cooking to feed whatever tribe configuration I have at the moment. I started referring to myself as the lunch lady after I had my kid. I also spent most of my working life teaching young & advocating for young children.------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

Yep, that is pretty good, can't beat that! My closest, is Saturn square 58', and then a sextile to Venus 2*14, and trine MC 2*36
Actually transiting Ceres is 13' applying to a trine with my Moon and is in applying conjunction with my MC (and applying sextile to Venus). Oh this is significant! Transiting North Node is bundled up in with transiting Ceres over the next few days too. I used to think that the transiting Nodes were not as significant as transiting planets.
