Does this indicate a feeling of "familiarity" with someone?

Familiarity I'm not too sure, obsession and intensity you better believe!!! Lol my honey and I have the conjunct as well as a ton of other really hot aspects together and I feel like I've know him my whole life. I'm not sure where exactly the familiarity comes from. The nodes maybe!?
Just my two cents

Actually I think it does whether the RS is romantic or not. The pluto person tried to manipulate Moon

Manipulate how? Does that go both ways?? I know pluto always gets the bad rep
What positive affects can pluto have in meeting the moon?

Hm...
The thing with Pluto is that he will either smack the Moon person down just for his pleasure or he will pull the Moon into such an emotional depth that none of them will want or will know how to get out of it.
Ex;I have Moon-Pluto with my father and we are both Hades Mooners in natal. I love him BUT since I am the Pluto i just feel the urge to emotionally manipulate him and make him feel awful when he does something wrong,I criticise him, I give him something and then I take it back.NO,I am not a sadist.THAT's just how the Moon person makes me feel.

My Pluto conjuncts Barbiegirl19's Asc/Mercury/Sun/Moon.

We have zero power struggles or manipulation. It's simply a matter of being obsessed with each other, but in a healthy way.
In fact, just tonight we had a serious conversation that NORMALLY might become emotional and even tense and heated, yet we remained extremely calm and talked it out.
Honesty and communication seem paramount and yes, there is intensity, but it's an intensity of love - not manipulation and control. There simply hasn't been any of that, not even slightly.

Familiarity, hmmmmm... South Node for sure. I don't know if Pluto would provide that. I mean I honestly am not sure. I suppose it depends on details of the placement and aspects.

Very cool responses from everyone - seems like everyone has their own experience of it

As far as South node, that's intrigued me too as well as planets falling in another person's 8 & 12 houses...

The more intensity/passion the better but Saturn is needed too to glue things together for a while

Me and my boyfriend have moon trine pluto (he is pluto)

We have no power struggles so far, the only area I can feel this is when we are being intimate! Cause damn, this is sure the nicest intimate-time I've ever experienced with some guy…

We can still kiss for hours and hours and just being near each other feels very nice I cannot describe the way it feels to be kissed by him, but it's a very nice feeling I have never had before!

Virgo sun/pisces moon together with a libra sun/pisces moon (both scorpio pluto) and we also have sun opposition moon and moon opposition venus!

My Pluto sextiles Manfriend's Moon. Even though he is uberUranian(Aqua ASC, Moon sextile and Venus conjunct Uranus), I think he enjoys my intensity as it feeds that gorgeous Leonine ego of his. As far attempting to manipulate or power play him, that would be mental & emotional suicide on my part; his Sun/Mars conjunction is in my 12th house.

Absolutely!! Manfriend's 7th house SN/Vertex conjunction is dead on my ASC. My Sun is in his 8th & his Sun/Mars is in my 12th. Also, we have Venus/Saturn, Venus/Saturn, Venus/Neptune double whammies. Yeah, we got it ALL with the exception of my bad geography (4 hours apart).

Exaaaaactly!

Her venus in scorpio in both our first houses. (mine barely) Venus being the chart ruler for both of us.
I told her to bring it. .. All of it. .. As much as she can dish out I'll eat it up. With my Pluto touching so much though, it goes both ways and both love it.

His MOON (N5H, S8H) opposite my PLUTO (N2H, S11H) : exact. (0.5°)
His PLUTO (N9H, S1H) sextile my MOON (N3H, S12H) : very wide. (5°)

I've got to say, I agree with someone's assessment that the lesson to be learnt here is emotional intimacy.

That's easier said than done.

That being said, it certainly makes things easier.

Especially with his lunar energy being directed towards my 8H from his 5H; and my 3H MOON feeling a tad lost in his 12H. His MOON is also 8R; like that doesn't continue the theme. 😉 Mine's just in SCO natally, so ....

What? 😜

Okay, Opal.

About his MARS in your 12H. How is that? My MARS is in my costar's 12H, and it took quite a bit to get those sparks ignited, if you catch my drift. It just often felt as if my 'transmission was getting lost in the noise'. Meanwhile, his VENUS is in my 12H. I doubt that helped!

As for 8H-SUN overlays ... man, have I some fond memories of those.

I have a nice 8th H synastry overlay with someone close to me right now

Their moon is in my 8th H but I think I am more affected than they are...I've read it can go either way (love/hate)

plus their natal moon is sorta badly aspected lol

also they have uranus/neptune and saturn all in my 12 h...which is like w.t.f.

I have pluto in their 12...I wonder how that feels for them? TBH I don't even know how it feels for me lol

There is nothing like Moon/Pluto. There will be nothing like Moon/Pluto. I cry as I write this. It is THE aspect in synastry. It is the romance novels. It is the depth of love such that you die with the beloved's name on your lips. It is once in a lifetime imo

That's something DeepFreeze and I stress a lot. It truly is one in a lifetime and so mind blowing! It's incredible! I feel deep down in my heart that we were made for each other and what's even more incredible is that he feels the exact same way! I looove it!

Imagine his Pluto conjuncting your sun, mercury and ascendant on top of the moon! I can't stress the word obsessed enough on both of our parts! He's what I've waited my whole life for

With the conjunction (and a little unable to separate it from the other conjunctions we have), the only "problem" there seems to be is actually trying to express the feelings. Nothing is restricted really. It's just so intense and deep that at least I struggle to express them fully, though she understands them.

With a trine, not being an expert, I would say just sort of watered down. Easier to handle. Maybe just romantic and genuine care for the other but not so much obsession.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So, any thoughts on a man's MOON opposite a woman's PLUTO? Less than 1°, also parallel.

His MOON is natally in his 5H, conjunct BML (1.5°), in my 8H. My PLUTO is also exactly conjunct BML.

So, there's a dual BML influence (opposition) on too of that.
