I don't know that much about foosball, but in Linda Goodman's Star Signs in the Forgotten Melodies chapter there is a section on North-South polarity which states in part... quote:
Universal Law states that, in the Northern Hemisphere, the North always has been and always shall be dominant over the South. When an opposition or a conflict occurs between them, the North will always win -- or there will be a draw or a tie, so thatno one wins. But in any event, the South cannot dominate or be victorious over the North. In the Southern Hemisphere, the law is polarized -- that is, opposite in its effect. In the Southern Hemisphere, the South always has and always shall be dominant over the North. When an opposition or a conflict occurs between them, the South will always win -- or there will be a draw or a tie, so that noone wins. But in any event, the North cannot dominate or be victorious over the South -- in the Southern Hemisphere. In the final analysis, however, the North is superior, in a universal sense, because when an opposition or conflict occurs between the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere, the North will carry the dominant vibration and be victorious -- or the outcome will be "a draw" and neither Hemisphere will win.

I remember that, still to this day, although I read Star Signs when I was 13 years old (over 20 years ago). I still use that strategy when I'm playing cards or some other game with my husband. IP: Logged |

Surprised would be putting it lightly. I was utterly disgusted! Right off the first saftey, I knew there was something wrong but I held my breath. Half way through the second quarter, I knew the game was pretty much over. I am done with Denver. IP: Logged |

Well, I didn't really choose sides so Denver didn't disappoint me. I was just surprised they did so badly lol. It's like, how did they make it that far playing like this o O.I did like the fact both teams were from western states only I was a bit miffed at them playing in NJ. I guess it must be an impartial place? IP: Logged |

The answer is they haven't been playing like that. This is something that just happens in sports, some nights (or days) you just don't have it and end up getting killed. It's a matter of luck. My high school football team is a good example of this. We dominated the regular season and the 1st round of the playoffs and were the favorites to win the TSSAA 6A state championship. But for whatever reason in the 2nd round game we came out flat and got beat 30-0. It was just a matter of having a bad game at the worst possible time. If we had played them again we would have killed them, but you don't get second chances in the playoffs or championship. It's win or go home. IP: Logged |
