My first daughter is Sag ascendant and she was born during the Yankees playing in the world series. The doctor who delivered her watched some of the game with my husband - it went into many extra innings while I was in labor.

Well, my birth was delayed by days. It seemed that I just wasn't ready for the world at all.

On the day of birth, I apparently came out with breathing issues and nurses were rushing for oxygen.

Also, months after, I got very ill and then suddenly(after visiting my grandparent's home) I steadily began recovering.

All I really know of my birth was I was born in the hospital where my maternal grandmother was an ER nurse, so she was present. I don’t think my mom was in labor for an unreasonably long time, as I’m sure she would have pointed that out to me like she does with this: “Your head came out and I thought whew it’s over, then your shoulders hit and I stood up and screamed.” Thanks mom.

I was born really fast (Mars sextile Jupiter exact), so fast that I didn't spend enough time in the "canal" (you know what I mean) to really squeeze through and come clean of my liquidy surroundings. Thus I was born on the verge of drowning to death. After the doctor worked on me a while, I came back to life, and everyone celebrated.

So yes, my birth scene reflects my ASC:

I think my Mars in Libra reflects my birth more than my Asc. I really didn't want to make the decision to come out, let alone take the initiative. Things got delayed because I was happy to sit on the fence.[/B][/QUOTE]

Also Cancer rising, but I was a very tough delivery. There was no doctor that day, because it was sunday (wtf?) and a group of medical students "helped" my mum give birth to me. She said they were pressing and pushing on her stomach so hard it was horrible. I didn't wanna come out, obviously because I wasn't ready, so they used a vacuum extractor or however this is called, to get me out. I was put into newborn care and received an oxygen tube so that my mum didn't see me at first

My Mars in Libra opposes my Asc Aries. And since being the first born. I think it may have been traumatic for my Mom as she didn't know what to expect.

I was born in one of the research Hospitals in the Discovery District of Toronto.

They call it that because of the concentration of hospitals and the research they conduct plus the University of Toronto is linked as well (its ranked within the top 50 universities in the world) sadly I never got the marks to attend it thought.

I still have an attachment to the area and live several blocks away. So i'm probably close to the location where my suns energy would intensify the most.

You always get a sense that the research they do is for the benefit of the greater good..not for malicious intent which fits my Sun trine Jupiter.

My Mercury conjuncts My Sun, Jupiter and My Mars.

i've never looked at my mother's transits on my birthday i just tell her having me was her only job because my sun is conjunct her midheaven

her pregnancy with me is part of why she's always seemed to feel a special connection with me over either of my brothers

she had a miscarriage less than a year before having me (on my older brother's birthday, september 26th, my birthday is august 23rd) and then right around when my parents found out she was having me my grandmother (father's side) died

throughout her pregnancy she dreamt about my grandmother telling her that everything was going to be fine and not to worry

she had to quit her job, be on bed rest etc difficult pregnancy and afterwards she almost died but everything worked out

also several of my aunts on my father's side were pregnant at the same time as my mother all miscarriages except one who died not long after being born, none of my aunts dreamt of my grandmother telling them anything

she's always telling that story, has since i was a kid, it was one of the more spiritual moments in her life i guess (also why i think she focused on my birth time over my brothers', we don't even know my younger brother's birth time and she never made a big deal out of telling either of them theirs but every year when i was really young she wouldn't give me presents until 1023 am because i wasn't born yet)

i'm a libra ascendant venus conjunct and in placidus i have a 1st house pluto sextile my sun

edit: looking at her transits is sort of interesting actually, decided to now (used placidus, works well for transits and divination)

transiting north node conjunct her 5th house moon (her natal north node is 10th house in virgo, her midheaven is 29 degrees leo), venus conjunct her sun, pluto in her 12th house conjunct mercury/neptune/venus, saturn in her first etc and so on

Mercury Gemini, Mars Cancer. I would describe it as "thinking fast..a bit wreckless thought".

Constantly I have this urge to think and move fast.

Example. I'm trying to get through a 400 page book right now and get it done before Christmas. I'm only at page 95 the only way is to set the .pdf in Adobe Acrobat to read aloud. If I stay focused I can get 300 pages done in 3 days, 100 pages each.

In all honesty I'm probably going to end up at page 250 or around that if I expect to still be able to retain the information.

I could read it all in 1 day but I won't remember jack.

Its ironic because my Aquarius Sun Taurus moon best female friend is supper slow.

She slows me down to the right speed and gives me the correct focused energy so I don't make a mistake and I speed her up to the correct speed of things.
