Lots of changes, shifts and news events due to last Friday’s Jupiter Pluto opposition combined with Venus stationing next to Pluto and turning direct as Mercury entered Pisces next to Neptune. Amanda Knox was found guilty again in Italy (Venus retrograde near Pluto), Phillip Seymour Hoffman died of a heroin overdose (he has a Venus/Pluto conjunction in his chart and Mercury in Pisces near Neptune and trine his South Node and Mars in Scorpio while having a Nodal reversal), Dylan Farrow (having her Saturn Return in Scorpio) wrote about her father’s, Woody Allen, sexual abuse of her at age 7 (another Saturn number and his Venus Pluto square activated by Venus retrograde joined to Pluto in Capricorn’s sign) and Woody responded (transiting Saturn in Scorpio squaring his Aquarius Moon and opposite his Solar Arc Saturn among other things), Obama talked with Bill O’Reilly (Jupiter opposite Pluto), The Seahawks dominated the Broncos starting with a missed pass (thanks Mercury!), the Tonight show Host changed creating job opportunities for two others (Jay, Jimmy and Seth have serious career transits), several suicides jumped off their buildings in the banking industry in England (reprise of the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction in December 2007 when Bernie Madoff made off with billions and started the financial collapse), the stock market dropping precipitously(Venus retro and Jupiter Pluto opposition), the Fed Chairman becoming a Chairwoman (Venus retro Pluto), Chris Christie’s former staff members, male and female, producing memos (Mercury and Venus retrograde) showing his involvement in shutting the bridge down, abortion rates have dropped to the lowest levels in 40 years (Venus retrograde Pluto conjunction) as well as Volcano eruptions in Indonesia and riots in France. Equally busy were people’s personal lives as various folks updated me on life shifting, unusual or major perspective altering events in their lives and important relationships. My father and his wife moved into assisted living on Friday starting a new chapter for my family. Note the story that took place in YOUR life from last week, the weekend and this upcoming week as you will be working with it very closely in the weeks ahead.

On busy news weeks like this, one has trouble keeping track as events swirl and old stories emerge to blend in with new stories. It can be hard to keep track of all that is going on.

Of particular importance was the SECOND Jupiter-Pluto opposition, echoing and bringing back into focus the financial debacle of 2008 when Pluto went into Capricorn in January 2008, right AFTER Pluto joined with Jupiter at the last degrees of Sagittarius in December 2007. This APRIL 2014, we have the third of three Jupiter Pluto stand offs in the sky. We have a rocking, life altering set of eclipses and a Cardinal Cross full of malefic planets right on the USA Sun and Saturn square. Combining that with the recent suicides of bankers in England as well as the drop in amounts and changes regarding what you can withdraw from your “on-demand” checking or savings accounts, I suggest you develop over the next month or two a “cash stash”.

It is a good idea to take some of your money off the stock and bond table and convert it into cash. Cash out some of your riskier positions. It looks like there will be a major financial correction or some kind of large global event that affects the world’s financial markets. Essentially NOTHING was done to the banksters after they stole billions of dollars in collateralized debt obligations. They were deemed “too big to fail”. Now Jupiter and Pluto combined with Uranus and Mars ask the question “Really? Too big to fail? Sounds like hubris to me!” So be conservative. Take money off the table before they start to fight and duke it out. If you know you need money for a down payment for a place to live in July, get the money out of the stock market NOW!

Saturn in Scorpio in the late degrees of Scorpio is in the Cancer decant of Scorpio ~home based, family oriented, conservative emotionally and cautious financially. Traditionally, Saturn in Scorpio brings epidemics (AIDS, Polio, Tuberculosis, Influenza) and financial difficulties or financial restructurings. So continue to nurture your health with bee propolis, greens and vitamins and be very conservative in your investments, including preserving them by removing the excess or the cash that you know you need from the stock market before the correction in April. I was a member of an investment club for the past 12 years. We decided to disband this year so I sold our portfolio off at the beginning of January 2014. If we had waited until this week to sell it, we would have lost $15,000. Yes, $15,000 in a month. Yes, partly Venus retrograde but also we are in the middle part of a major Jupiter-Pluto cycle where it is time to “pay the piper” so to speak. So don’t let the piper get any more of your money than you absolutely have to give up! The money doesn’t “disappear” ~ it goes into someone’s pocket. Make the pocket be YOUR pocket!

The Week’s Planetary Highlights

Sun in Aquarius connects with both Saturn and Venus by declination. Time to get serious and clear about money and financial matters as well as emotional commitments. You’ve been dilly dallying for a while now. Sun says so what DO you want to do? You know what you want. Don’t be afraid of your heart!

Mercury retrogrades on Feb 6 at 3:20 Pisces until February 28. Back up your computers. Double check all data and information. Mercury is in PISCES so communications are especially emotionally fraught, watery, salty (think ocean waves) and often unclear. Ghosts from your past will start arriving soon!

Venus in Capricorn is retracing for the third time her path through Capricorn until March 5. Venus says it is time to commit to what you want from partners, relationships, work, finances, loved ones and friends. Focus on how Venus works for you. Her station degree was 13:33 Capricorn

Mars in Libra meets Juno and Pallas to push you to commit as you change or deal with the anxiety of releasing your old patterns. You can do it!

Jupiter opposed Pluto last Friday January 31. The start of the current cycle at the initial conjunction took place on December 11, 2007 at 28:23 Sagittarius. This is the second of three oppositions between Jupiter and Pluto. The first was August 7, 2013 and the third will be on April 20, 2014. This portends a major financial correction as the opening conjunction heralded the 2008 economic collapse. We are seeing what we’ve created, the fruits of our labor so to speak. Tweak and adjust your personal cycle of abundance and creativity.

Jupiter trines Chiron on Feb 5, 2014 offering an opportunity for deep emotional healing and merging. We’ll have one more of these after Jupiter goes direct. Release what no longer works for you.

Saturn is quiet this week. He is at 23 Scorpio so events from that year of your life can be up and dancing in your life. Full steam ahead on every commitment you can make. Yes, some commitments will be revised or changed after March 2, 2014. No worries! Say yes to your life! Deal with chronic or health matters that surface either last week or this week immediately.

Uranus is inconjunct Pallas in a health aspect. Deal immediately, if not sooner, with any health matter that you notice. DO NOT IGNORE IT. Go to the doctor.

Juno asks you to make choices around important relationships in your life. Difficult choices. You can do it. Watch who you meet or connect with as potential partners mid-week. They will be joining you on your journey.

Ceres enters Scorpio so nurturing or care taking gets much more fierce after Feb 3 2014.

Admetos stations and turns direct on Feb 9, 2014 so things end permanently. Things need to end for you to move forward.

Sedna stations and turns direct on Feb 5, 2014 so expect Ocean events to be in the new this week…

Moon Day Monday February 3, 2014 Moon is in Aries and goes void opposite Mars making today a great day for releasing and setting things free. Dreams are very relationship based last night, inviting you to participate with people. Saturn squares Astraea so there can be some lingering or problematic health matters you need to attend to today. Ceres enters Scorpio, intensifying the mother energy as well as the passion for all things, for 47 days until she reenters Libra, retrograde, on March 22, 2014. Uranus is inconjunct to Pallas, inviting you to adjust your understanding of the ideas that you hold true. It isn’t so much about right or wrong but rather do YOU still believe it? Sun joins with Venus by declination encouraging romance, collaboration and fun. You or they are NOT in the mood to be subservient so if someone reacts to what you say or said, check the tone and ASK THEM WHAT THEY HEARD you say. They didn’t hear you correctly OR jumped to a conclusion that wasn’t indicated. Change your patterns, change your life. You can do it! We are feeling Mercury’s station so communications and travel are halted.

Mercury’s Day Wednesday February 5, 2014 Moon enters Taurus at 04:47:36 am EST. Moon goes void opposite Saturn and is excellent for letting go of things you no longer need. Lots of action because exalted Moon bustles through easy aspects with Jupiter, Pluto and Venus. Push for projects that you love. Mars stimulates the Ocean goddess Sedna right as she stations to turn direct at 23:16 Taurus. Expect Ocean events ~ tsunamis, developing news, Japan’s nuclear power reactor going a bit crazy ~ watch for them as Sedna’s activation after her station should bring Ocean events front and center. Juno aspects the Nodes of Fate so people can arrive into your life or leave it for good today. Partnerships are under enormous developmental pressure this week. Choose Wisely! If you get left out of the festivities, don’t worry. There is a possible project coming your way that you’ll like even more. Jupiter’s trine to Chiron at 2:51 pm EST offers healing and great ideas on how to proceed. Trust the process. Release what no longer serves your heart. Mercury’s station screws up communications today too.

Health aspects draw your attention this morning. You have a gift of inspiration this morning so make sure to say yes to unusual offers that appear out of the blue. Mercury stations to go retrograde until February 28 at 3:20 Pisces. He’s bouncing between water and air so be very conscious of dropping things or spilling water etc on keyboard or electronic appliances. Juno links up with Zeus so a married or taken person can hit on you romantically. Yes, they ARE serious but do you want to share? Pluto has a quintile to Ceres ~ the changes you’ve been making are profound and long reaching. Keep on with the good work. Lots of action today as Moon bustles through easy aspects with Jupiter, Pluto and Venus. Push for projects that you love. You might not get a yes but they know you cared. After the retrograde, make a diary note to repitch!

Afternoon moon is good for connecting and committing to projects, people or ideas. Health matters surface and draw your attention. Pay attention to them! Your body is what carries you around!
