Ever been involved with someone who you had the most awkward "intimate" relationship with? Basically, initiating things felt so weird or robotic?

Is it also a natal thing? Aspects to houses? What?

yes. it was romantic, but never felt 'right' or passionate in the way it did with others. with others there were many conjunctions and in the one that was awkward there were many squares, but I believe to (their) venus and ASC in particular made it weird for me.

Doing some digging today on this one. That "never felt right or passionate" viewpoint resonates with me.

Guy has a Venus in Virgo on the Asc. Leo Sun [who has stirred passions and can come on aggressive] yet when things evolve into that arena it becomes so inorganic and there is noooo connection there Even with Mars in Scorpio something just never clicks! Years of this…

Venus in Virgo can be very tricky! Eventhough I have Mars conj Asc in Virgo and am extremely forward, I can go cold in a second. I also have 4 personal planets conj asc in Virgo in my progressed chart. Does he get cold or are things just awkward?

Things get awkward. I used to think it was just me until I got him to open up a little about his previous partners. There were similarities. They'd be attracted to him and anticipate the moment, then get around him and just not be as enthused as before. His words were "she'd tell me she's still attracted and she wanted me, but I always had to initiate" and this was without fail. Same thing applies for me. I kept convincing myself "this time will be different" but it NEVER flows EVER with him.

The whole thing feels quite adolescent, for lack of better words. Like totally awkward. I am attracted to him, very much so. But going further, it's just so disconnected

I usually feel like this in the beginning with most people, so I think it has something to do with the asc … but it's not very often I know peoples correct TOB

But I cannot be with someone who feels awkward…I would reject them before we got into any sort of that action!

My scorpio venus need to feel sure that the person is for real before I can be intimate with them!

Is he insecure?
Virgo placements can be very self-conscious.

That's the vibe I get. Like he's unsure of himself. Even when he tries to make himself talk/do more aggressively it comes off forced and ultimately I reject the efforts. It's just not "natural" for him. But he's truly a special guy outside of that.
Mercury/Venus on the Asc.
