Hi, I found in my synastry with my bf this double whammy, i'd like to know how does the quincux works here. i've read that it's a kind of seesaw but i'm not convinced about this. I appreciate your help!

Depends on other things.
Generally a quincunx isn't really a strong aspect, especially in synastry.
It's kinda iffy but seldom makes a big impact (IME at least, some people may disagree).

One thing that *could* be possible is that the Pluto person could make the Venus person uncomfortable in some way - they may feel insecure or "shaken up" as a result of the Pluto person's attention to them. It may make them uneasy or bring some of their issues to the surface.
