It's interesting, I've made the discovery about myself recently that *I* am the person who brings about the most change in my relationships because I bring most of the pluto aspects. All my life in almost any situation school, work, where ever I always come right before a huge major change is about to take place and it's because I seem to bring a lot of Pluto energy with me lol

Anyway as the title suggests I'm curious about relationships that have heavy pluto and saturn in synastry. I am currently "friends" with a Virgo man who so far it hasn't really gone anywhere, because either I'll disappear for a while or he will. But just yesterday he made plans with me and then was a no show, I basically told him to hit me up when he was serious about wanting to get to know me.

Well I did our synastry and wow do we have a lot of Pluto and Saturn going on, more so Saturn and it's all coming from HIM. I know some of the placements are generational, but his Saturn is hitting quite a few of my personal planets, just like my pluto is hitting some of his personal planets.

His Saturn placements to my planets:

Saturn trine Venus orb -0°31'
Saturn square Pluto orb -3°41'
Saturn sextile Mars orb +2°02'
Saturn sextile Moon orb -4°03'
Saturn trine Uranus orb +4°41'
Saturn square Jupiter orb +5°43'

My pluto to his planets:

Pluto opposite Jupiter orb +1°03'
Pluto conjunction Uranus orb -4°46'
Pluto sextile Moon orb +0°50'
Pluto square Saturn orb +3°41'
Pluto sextile Venus orb +3°51'

While we're at it, I'll post the composite stuff for Saturn and pluto as well:

Pluto:
Venus trine Pluto orb +2°27'
Sun square Pluto orb +4°15'
Neptune sextile Pluto orb +1°20'

Saturn:
Sun sextile Saturn orb -4°23'
Venus square Saturn orb -6°10'

We also have some very interesting Venus aspects as well and a lot of easy Neptune aspects too (I'm the Neptune), but I'm more interested in the Saturn and Pluto aspects. I'm wondering if this could be why we keep going back and forth? Hot & cold? We do have Venus sq Uranus and I am the Uranus, but lately it seems I'm the Venus and he's the Uranus, never being available when I want him to be..some insight would be great. So all of this Saturn, does it mean that will never really be rid of each other even if we tried?

Right in the moment I'm in my first saturn-relationship, where we have sun/saturn double whammy and venus square saturn in the composite…. especially the sun/saturn aspects are strong, then comes moon and venus in aspect with saturn!
But I know that uranus square venus can sometimes make the timing a bit difficult, as the other one always seems unavailable… I also have this in our relationship and I'm also the uranus. But so far I haven't really been "unavailable", but I'm always very busy making other stuff as school, friends and family, so it's not because I have dozens of time for us, but it's enough

But I have tried a pluto relationship, and those are NOT fun.
Someone is always gonna get possessive at some point, and maybe jealous too, and then starts the drama.
But I think if you're plutonian yourself, it's easier to handle, cause you know how it goes…

With pluto it can be extremely hard to let go, but once you do they are GONE for good, and not coming back again, no matter what saturn aspect you have.

Thank you for your reply! As I was saying in another thread, about a relationship I had early last year, I was the "pluto person" and it was truly bizarre, a little dramatic but weird more than anything. Honestly I'm not sure if I will hear from this guy again, but with all of the Saturn I think I might. He is a Virgo, so maybe he's gone into hiding due to the retrograde, or who knows maybe and ex and has back into his life and he's focused on that. Hmm, well I was mostly curious about all of the Saturn as this is the first time I've seen so much between me and a "potential".

Yes it's exiting with saturn…cause everywhere you always hear that saturn-relationships are the best for longterm commitment and that it has great marriage potential:P

But all we can do is just to wait and see for ourselves, if it actually works out

Also, Saturn is about "waiting" actually, and being patient.
I think a lot of saturn in the synastry/composite can make the relationship itself more patient, both for good and bad...

Sorry, I can't be of much help. I have plenty of Pluto in my chart as well, and Saturn square Pluto natally;

But as far as synastry goes, I have a lot of Saturn/Pluto aspects with my son, so I was hoping more people could offer input.

We both have Saturn square Pluto natally, and his Saturn is conjunct my Pluto. So there are a lot of weird double whammy type aspects going on.

So...Bump!

With outer planet-based synastry (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto), how comfortable you are with the relationship often depends on the aspects the outer planets make in your own natal chart. i.e. If a person has Mars/Saturn natally, if there is a square between Venus and Saturn within Synastry, that person will be more comfortable with the Saturn energy and understand it in the relationship (and possibly, Venus would square Mars which is a hot aspect).

But depending on the aspects alone: Saturn relationships tend to be very steady and secure, and commitment based, although there could be issues of freedom and inhibition. Pluto would intensify the relationship, but with Saturn and Pluto- the planet of authority and the planet of destiny- the two people could struggle for power between them; self-awareness is key.

Neptune could soften the relationship (i.e. a Moon trine Neptune often leads to a very romantic and sympathetic feeling) depending on the aspects that it makes; however, with the hard aspects there are problems of deluding oneself with the Neptune person.

Once again, I say, being aware of potential problems is the key; otherwise, go for it.
