There are very mixed descriptions about this aspect in geberal online so firstly, is this good or bad? How does it manifest? And how do these planets in aries and pisces work like this in synastry? Thanks

Semi sextile is an aspect between signs that are in incompatible elements and different modality. Basically, they have little in common, so this aspect in synastry can show two elements that are different from each other in terms of trait.

Aries is a fiery, impulsive and more extraverted sign, the sign of self, while Pisces is more passive, gentle and inner focused. They have little in common with each other.

On the other hand, in what house these elements are can influence the compatibility to some extend. A fire sign in a water house can make it a bit more watery, while a water sign in a fire house can make it a bit more fiery.

Okay, so the moon here is in the first house natally. Would that make it more fiery? And the venus is in the 10th house which is....capricorn's house, so that would make it more earthy? Would this make it a tad more compatible?

I think that it can help a bit. My Moon is in the 8th house, so it gets a bit Scorpionic, while my husband's Pisces Moon is in the 1st house, and his emotions are more active (not in a sense of being emotional, but in a sense that he shows his emotions easily when he's happy).

Ah right, I see. Yeah, I was just thinking actually- my venus in aries is in the 10th house and I would say overall I don't really relate to many descriptions about Venus in Aries other than falling in and out of love very easily. But I don't like to chase or anything like that. So I suppose it being in an earth house it would tame it a bit. Thank you for that!
Though, one of the people in this synastry has a natal moon square venus. Would the other person's venus semi-sextiling this moon aggravate it?
