I'm not so super Capricorn.. but you know my placements: Cap Moon, Mars, Neptune and Sun trine Saturn.
The reason I stop talking to someone is usually that I feel they are wasting my time and energy and in some way 'holding me back' or distracting me. I've also occasionally stopped interacting when I felt the other person was unsupportive, dismissive or critical of my career choice, goals, dreams and aspirations.

Those are really the main problems. I'm not emotional enough to block someone out for impractical reasons. Unless they are practically affecting me in a way I see as negative ... I have no reason to leave them.

If I've made the decision to stop interacting, as I did with my ex for instance... it would really bother me if that person chased and didn't leave me alone.
Capricorn is not like Cancer because emotion is not the main thing for them... so it's not so much about showing them you care, but rather showing them that you are supportive and a good influence in their life (from a purely practical perspective).

@Odette and So Cappy- Yeah I wasn't critical or unsupportive in anyway, so I don't think it's that. It must just be a breather because we are SO comfortable around one another that we forget our boundaries (maybe that's Moon opposition Jupiter in synastry saying a big "Hello!"?) It irritates me because I'm such an open person and he shells up despite my knowing I'm one of the few he trusts. I get frustrated because I want to know what's going on to see if I can clarify anything or make him feel better. But it seems there's no making Capricorns feel better before they're ready.

Sagittarius....ughhh. these people seem happy with me and they feel close but I NEVER feel emotionally safe or comfy with them as a Taurus moon
